AFTER WHAT NICK, TRAVIS, AND MADISON WITNESSED, they were driving out of the empty alley almost driving into a truck behind them- while that was happening Madison was trying to get ahold of either bailey or Alicia and nick was changing channels after every five seconds to see if the news was saying anything.
"Nick! Stop please." Travis says as he continues driving and he clicks to turn the radio off while Madison tries the two again,
'This is bailey, leave a message,' or 'it's Alicia, leave a message.' She sighs and puts her phone down, nick sighs and leans back distressed,
"No one's talking about this, no one's saying anything." He says as he moves his hair to the side. Travis then sighs while still driving then he says,
"We need to get away from the city-" travis then turns to the two, Madison looking back at him, "- We need to get away from people." He says and then turns back to the road driving.
"Just grab Alicia, Bailey, Liza, and Chris, and just go until we know what this thing is." He finalizes and Madison looked back up from her phone,
"The desert?" She asks looking to travis and he nods, while nick is still in his daze from what happened back at the alley.
"Yeah, it'll be okay there, we'll be safe." Travis says and before anyone could say anything else Madison's phone starts ringing, she instantly picks it up and answers,
"Alicia, where the hell are you?" She asks as she looks around the roads as they keep driving, she hears Alicia's heavy breathing and then she answers back,
"Mom." She's says and then it went quiet, then Madison decides to speak up again,
"Listen, we got Nick, we're coming to get you and Bailey." She starts off and then continued, "I need you two to pack some things for us, load up some groceries, okay?" Alicia sighs,
"No, I can't." She says and Madison gets confused then decides to continue on,
"We're going out of town." On the other line Alicia shakes her head.
"What? No. I can't." She says and Madison turns her head looking at the two in the truck with her and asks urgently,
"Why? What's wrong?" Her voice filled with worry and Alicia sighs again,
"He's sick, He's really sick." She says, travis and nick turn to look at Madison's face turn to many emotions, but mostly confusion,
"Who? Who's sick?" She asks and prays for it not to be who she thinks it is, this time both Travis and nick this time are worried as well.
"Matt." Alicia answers, Madison sighs in relief- but also still mildly sad it's Alicia's boyfriend (ew) as Madison's been more of a bailicia fan, no offense to Matt, "His fever's, like, 103." Alicia says through the line and Madison sighs,
