'We need to talk' was the first notification Amelia saw on her phone when she woke up. It had been almost two weeks since her and Vinnie hung out and, just the day before, Thomas had finally posted the vlog. As it was already expected, many fans were freaking out about it, happy the couple was back together (they weren't) and others had been taking the time to hate on both of them.

Even if they hadn't especified at any point during the video that they weren't dating, they thought it would be obvious, due to the lack of affection a couple would normally have. Apparently, they were wrong about it, as their social media were filled with video edits and photos from the vlog. And, it was possibly the reason why Caleb had sent her that text.

She didn't understand him, though. He hadn't made an effort to speak to her ever since their friends left, only keeping their conversations to a bare minimum, and now he wanted to talk? Whatever it was, Amelia wouldn't even think about putting the blame on herself, as he was the one who stopped contact in the first place.

Either way, they did have to talk. She remembered how she told him she was afraid of losing his friendship if things didn't work as a couple and how he said they'd always be able to get back to being friends, so she was hoping he kept his word.

After confirming a time to meet up, Amelia chose to scroll through her TikTok comments and she had a hard time reading them. Vinnie's fans were back, if her hate filled comment section was any indication of that, but, surprisingly, the number of them was way lower than it used to be. Also, she was laughing at a few of them who were actually thanking her, saying she was their favorite among Renata and Tabitha.

She had never met Tabitha, the member who joined the Hype House in Renata's place, but she had seen the ship between the other girl and her ex boyfriend and she wasn't bothered by it. It was pretty clear that Vinnie had no interest in her, but Tabitha seemed quite desperate, if someone were to ask Amelia - she had a feeling the fans would agree with her.
