George Weasley, one of your close friends, forgot his charms homework, and you insisted  that he copy yours but Professor Flitwick noticed

As you entered the charms classroom you saw your mates and a distressed George Weasley as you made your way to your assigned seat beside him you asked-

Y/N: George?

George: Yeah?

Y/N: may I ask why you are stressed a bit?

George: I just forgot that we had homework
Y/N: you can copy mine, Just change it up a bit!

You handed him your homework as you beamed a smile at him

George: Many thanks, love!

As he said  that your face creeped up a blush

( Time skip )
After  class

Professor Flitwick called George and me to stay for a bit,
“ may you please inform me of why both of you have similar assignments “

George: it was me, sir y/n allowed me to copy hers  and changed it a bit

“ and why is that mister Weasley?”
As George huffed and confessed that he forgot that we had homework

Professor was forgiving and told us that he’d not take our house points but in exchange, for washing and cleaning every single dish at dinner for this night we both agree into doing it considering it was a Friday.

afterwards, we were dismissed, he quickly apologized for dragging you to this because of his actions

“ I'm very deeply sorry y/n *

As I was  walking at the same pace as him  he held me and faced me as he informed me sincerely

I blushed and told him-
“ it's ok George, everyone forgets their homework sometimes “
I shrugged and hugged him and assured him that it was fine as I kept in mind that we both will spend a lot of time with him during the punishment and farewelled

George POV
As we parted ways I heard my, twin brother, teasing me about what happened
as he knew that I was head over heels for her for the reason that she was angelic and was effortlessly intelligent and opened minded and how she was a very honest loving person

Y/N POV
As I head to the great hall, I waited for my friends Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger to finish studying in the library while I remained and explored the area for poem books, I stumbled upon one called “ victoria the romantic heart ” and read it and got hooked at one of the poems

“ It is the heart and not the brain. That to the highest doth attain and be who followeth  loves behest far excelleth all the rest “

As I read it my heart bloomed out of bliss, and I squealed as the whole library stared and got one particular face intrigued as I approached a table close to the two girls. George came near and asked  while he sat beside you
“ very interesting book you got there “
“ It really is! The linguistic text of it is very wonderful “
I proclaimed with a soft dainty smile

George: what's it about?

Y/N: Its basically short sonnets or poems based on love

Y/N POV
I got nervous as of how he got close to look at the verse, and we started reading it both and chatting about anything that came across during our conversation  we shared genuine laughs and smiles with each other's company
And a small tap touched me as it was Hermione with a smirk across her face as she told me that they were done studying I quickly checked the book out as I parted away and gave him a twinkled grin

George POV
As she told me that she was enjoying the book I can't help but admire her beauty as she muttered another poem

“ My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have for both are infinite “

Hermione tapped her shoulder as she told her that she and ginny were done studying she swiftly checked the book out and gave me a flourishing smile as she left with them

Lee: * chuckles * look who got captivated
While grinning

George: oi! buze it lee

Lee: did I say something wrong? I mean you can’t bottle all your feelings for her for long

George: I know that, but I really don’t think I have a chance with her I mean she's so well-mannered and charming plus she's attractive

As he veils a slight smirk

Lee: you just confirmed that you certainly like her, look as your best friend I just recommend you to confess to her that's it. it's obvious by the way cause your always soft around her

George had a faint blush

George: fine I'll do it
