When the bell finally rang for the first break, I took my lunch and went to the cafeteria. "Azalea! Azalea...Hey!" I waved with my hands in front of her face until she noticed me. She was listening to music while slowly handing me one of her AirPods. Before I could even take it, she pulled it away. "Not until you come to the party!" she said in a commanding tone. I wondered why I hesitated at all earlier. They get drunk and lose all their innocence. I bet they all lost it already. "Nope, not now and not in 100 years" I said calmly. "Oh come on... don't be such a spoilsport!" I giggled. I've been known as the spoilsport since kindergarten . "No." Said firmly. "Then I'll tell your dad you threw his hair gel in the trash." She threatened me. That wasn't quite right. I squirted the contents of the tube down the toilet and threw the tube in the trash. I was mad at him for not giving me money for Smith's Sweet's back then. I laughed at that thought. But I really didn't want it to come out since it was $120. "Ugh ok." I gave in. She got up, spun in circles and danced excitedly. Everyone looked at her. But Azalea never cared about that. Like the motto: I don't care what you think about me. I'm 1000 times better than you. "In a good mood today Azalea!" I heard someone call from the other table. I turned around only to look Serena straight in the eyes. "Yes, very much!" Azalea exclamed, grinning from ear to ear. Well, I haven't really liked Serena since I saw her for the first time. I remember the first day. I danced in the rain until she suddenly came. "Hey Valentina!" I turned around abruptly. "Where are your friends? Do you have any? Probably not with that raincoat!" she said and went to the carousel with her two „friends". I felt miserable. Since this happened , I've never wanted to wear my yellow raincoat and my red wellies again. We had a „Celebrate-Yourself-Day" where we all take something that reminds us of a moment when we really realized something important for our lives. I always put on the coat and rubber boots that day. I'm happy that happened. Because I realized that day: There are people who are nice and some who aren't. Those who are less nice just need a little more time until they are mature enough to realize that they are hurting others. That always cheered me up. "Are you coming to the party?" Serena snapped me out of my thoughts. Since I couldn't utter a sound at that moment, Azalea took over for me. "Yes" she said proudly.
