Prologue
I can't believe I'm finally seeing him up close after a while. I missed him so much. Will he remember me this time? I've been to every single fan meeting since that day... my heart hurts so much that he doesn't feel the same way that I do now, but this is the best that I can get. At least I get to love him as much as I want to and for as long as I can.
I wait for my turn, my heart still fluttering at the thought I get to see them again today. I wish I could spend time with them like how we used to, but I know that it won't happen in this world.
As they ask me what to write on the album, I can't stop staring at their faces. They mean so much to me and since I got back, they are the only ones I have left in my life. I do not regret anything and I still believe I made the right decision.
After a few interactions with the members, it's finally his turn.
The love of my life. The one who owns my heart.
Nobody compares to him, and no matter how much I try to move on, I know I will never be able to.
My happiness.
The reason I chose to live longer despite everything.
My only one.
"You loved me in another life," I tell him, like a crazy fan.
"I love you even in this life," He answers with a warm smile. My heart skips a beat. Does he remember me?
I laugh nervously, but I still try to act like it doesn't make any sense even though I want him to mean it the way I want him to. "I'm only a fan. You know that's not true," I revert, almost sounding like I'm sulking.
"I will love you in every world I'll ever exist in, no matter how far you are from me," he answers with a laugh. My world stopped. I felt like I am spinning in this still world. This is exactly what I said to him before I left. Does he remember me? He must have remembered me. Did he come to this world for me?
I felt like all my blood rushed to my face. I felt like crying. I will bawl at any moment if he actually remembers the love that we had.
"All our carats are important."
And then reality hit me once again.
