Poor description of a fight in the beginning (sorry if MC vs Inuyasha fight seems short/bad I didn't want to drag the fight for long)

There's a famous saying, 'the tension was so thick, you could cut a knife through it'. That's how this moment could be described. An upcoming fight between a cursed human and a half-demon.
Before anyone knew it, Inuyasha started fighting the swordswoman whom no one knew the name of. Kagome desperately yelled at them to stop fighting, but neither of them listened. It was no use, Inuyasha wasn't himself and the swordswoman couldn't even hear her. If she could, Kagome would've ran right to them to intervene in their fight; but, it's far too dangerous.
Kagome could easily get injured or killed by either of them, perhaps even both.
Inuyasha became feral, attacking at complete random with no coordination. Meanwhile, the swordswoman swiftly dodges most of Inuyasha's attacks and she swings her swords with full force. Both of them were injured by another, but neither cared.
Inuyasha growls before lunges at the swordswoman, pinning her to the ground. She lifted her legs to kick Inuyasha harshly in the chest, she also tried to stab Inuyasha but he jumped away before she could.
The two of them stood at the same position, waiting for the other's first move.
At that moment Inuyasha was given a small moment to think to himself, he felt his demon blood rushing through his body, but why? Why was he even fighting this random stranger? He's supposed to kill Naraku's incarnation who's already dead. He can tell by its scent it was this stranger who killed Naraku's incarnation. Despite the danger being gone, he doesn't feel adrenaline calming down. He doesn't know why, but he has this strong urge to kill. And this stranger was in the way. He wants to kill her. And this desire is only growing stronger.
Surprisingly, it was the swordswoman who made the first move instead of the feral Inuyasha. It was as if she could feel Inuyasha's bloodlust growing stronger. She dashes straight towards him, repeatedly swinging her swords with no rest inbetween. Barely allowing Inuyasha the chance to attack back nor escape, Inuyasha used his long sharp claws to parry most of her attacks. However, it wasn't enough. He continues to receive new injuries all over.
