Summary: You surprise Ethan with a early anniversary gift

A/N: this was my first time ever writing on here and I think I did pretty good, please let me know in the comments on what I could do to make it better. Tips/info is very much welcomed.

It was about 5:00 in the evening, when you suddenly got an idea

Your boyfriend Ethan was out getting groceries at the time and it was perfect timing for
your plan.

When you and Ethan first got together, you guys bonded over baking. Making the weirdest cakes, or playing with the icing, you guys always ended up with a weird, but delicious, desert. So now that Ethan was away you had time to set things up.

It was nearing your anniversary to, so it could also count as a early surprise.

You set up rose petals everywhere and lit up some candles. This was usually Ethan's thing but you decided to give it a go.

You got all the baking supplies ready
for your time with Ethan. So when it came to the baking part, you two weren't running around like headless chickens looking for the stuff
you needed.

It was 6:00 when Ethan finally came back home with groceries. He went and placed all of the groceries on the counter and took off his sunglasses. As soon as you saw him you immediately ran up to him and jumped into his arms, and of course, he catched you with ease. "HAPPY EARLY ANNIVERSARY,BABE.",you yelled. He smiled and pulled you into a passionate kiss.

As you two pulled away for air, he took this as a chance to look around, with loved
filled eyes, and a big, goofy, grin.

"Did you do all of this, babe?", he asked, still looking around. "No babe, the guy who stalks me did it." you replied. With that, Ethan's agent instincts kicked in and he pulled out his gun, suspiciously looking around, with hurt in his eyes to.

Immediately feeling bad, you took him in for another passionate kiss, this one more slow and gentle than the last one. "Babe I'm so sorry, I didn't know that you would take it that seriously, I was just joking, I promise." I said, pulling him into a hug, he sighed and pulled away. "It's ok love, I just get really protective when I hear something like that, especially from you." He looks back at you, smiling, and of course, you smile back.

His smile grows even bigger as you started pulling him closer to the kitchen.

When you got there, he looked around with even more excitement in his eyes. He got the hint that you two were going to be baking, you didn't know what, but just baking.

By the end of 8:00, you two were finally done.

You guys made some really good spaghetti and meatballs, with a two layered vanilla cake, with of course, rainbow sprinkles.

You guys served yourselves and sat down at the table, making jokes and drinking wine. You had made this really funny joke and it caused Ethan to laugh so hard that he spilled all of his wine on the table, and you guys just laughed harder. Of course you two cleaned it up.

When you guys finished eating, you got all of the plates and took them to the sink and started to wash them. Ethan told you to wait in the kitchen for him, he said he had a little surprise for you. You had no idea where he went, but you were just bubbling with excitement.

Before you know it, 30 minutes have passed by and you were finishing the dishes. You started hearing some faint music coming from the living room, and then, Ethan comes in with a tuxedo on and with a bouquet of roses in his hand. He extends his arm saying, "Will you join me for a dance, my love.", he says, with a love filled eyes, and a lovely smile to go with it. You reach out your hand and grab his, saying,"Why of course, darling, it would be
my pleasure." and with that he pulls you in, and starts swaying in rhythm with the music.

With loved filled eyes, and lovely smiles to go with it, you both danced the night away.
