Story summary: no spoilers OVO

Luxiem's debut was successful just like Y/n's floral shop. Y/n had a few shops across the world, helping to spread their passion and hobby of tending to plants. As well as owning their own floral shop, they had a beautiful garden outside their house. Their shop sold unique and a large variety of flowers and evergreens to name a few- many different plants so they'd be able to sell all year long.

Who was Y/n? Y/n was the gardener from the past of Nijisanji EN's 4th wave Luxiem which is how they met Mysta. Mysta to them was at first a chaotic friend that was a bottom. But slowly throughout collabs, petty arguments, disagreements and late-night talks, they've sprouted feelings for each other. Y/n loved reading about what different flowers symbolize and they often liked to think that a red chrysanthemum was blooming inside them. Figuratively of course.

Eventually, when their feelings seemed too much to contain in side themselves when their flower bloomed so much it needed confirmation to grow more, Y/n confessed. In their garden, in the dark. The confession wasn't perfect. It wasn't even planned to be a confession, but when Y/n brought Mysta out to their garden to show him a flower they've just planted all lights went out. The light that was coming from their house disappeared leaving Y/n and Mysta in darkness. Not to mention that the moon was not out tonight.

(Flashback)

*Mysta was afraid of the dark and Y/n knew that. They immediately held his hand to reassure him that they were there. As they stood in the oddly loud silence with the occasional rustle of leaves, Mysta's fear only grew. Mysta's actions (that were now being controlled by fear) pulled Y/n into a tight hug. Y/n was surprised at first but quickly recovered (comforting Mysta was the only thing on their mind) and wrapped their arms around Mysta's shaking figure. *

*"T-thank you," Mysta stuttered out after a few minutes, "The hug is really comforting, especially from you," Mysta whispered the last part quietly. Y/n still heard the sentence and both faces flushed a shade of red. Although both wanted to say something, they stood in a growing awkward silence with their reddened faces hidden by the darkness. *

Thoughts entered and argued in Y/n's mind as the silence stretched until they finally spoke. "Mysta?" The other made a slight noise telling Y/n to continue, Y/n opened their mouth still hesitating before finally making up their mind, "I... I really like you, Mysta."

"R-really?" Mysta whispered loud enough for Y/n to hear, he lifted his head trying to make out what expression the other was making. "Really," Y/n confirmed tightening their embrace around him, "I would kiss you right now but it's hard to see." Mysta smiled and snuggled closer to the comforting warmth, "I like you to Y/n." Moments later the light came back on revealing both of their flustered faces.
