Loren's Pov

            "Lo, Lorennn, LOREN! Girl I know you hear me!" Brianne, my bestfriend said while trying to get my attention. "What girl? I hear you. I gave you the signal with my eyes!" She sighed. "Loren, I know you like to be at home with my nephews & you don't really like to go out..." I already know where this is going.

"No!" I said walking downstairs. "But Lo, please! I want you to go!" I shook my head. "Bri, I don't like those types of crowds & I just like to be home." She looked so sad. I sighed. "What time are we going?" She smiled ear to ear running up & hugging me. "10:00, so be ready! You love to take forever to get yourself together." I laughed.

"Girl, no I don't!" I laughed again knowing I just lied. "Yeah, you know you lying. Who knows...maybe some fine men will be here!" I thought about it because I haven't been with anyone or on a date since Jeremiah left. Maybe!

Jalyn & Jadyn walked in with my mom moments later. "Hi Mommy, hi Auntie Bri!" (Yk how black people are, your mom's close friends are your aunties/uncles😂😂) They ran up to us hugging the both of us. "Hi my doot dootsss, how was your last day of school?" I asked them. "It was so much fun, we played football, jumped on the chupiter jump." Jadyn exclaimed. I laughed at the way my baby pronounced it. "It's Jupiter baby."

"Ohhh J-Jupiter." He laughed as well. Jalyn was quiet, a little too quiet. "Jalyn, how was your day? Are you okay?" He snapped out of his trance & turned to me. "I'm good, I had an awesome day." I was skeptical but I just said okay.

"Thank you ma for picking them up! I really just needed to get stuff done." I went up to her & hugged her. "No problem baby! Well I'm about to go so I'll see you later." I walked her to the door. "Oh wait, Can you keep the boys tonight? Pleaseeeee!" She nodded her head. "Of course, what time were you thinking?"

"Like 8:30?" She nodded her head. "Alright, I love you. I'll see you tonight then." Then she walked out the door. I waited till she got out of the driveway to close the door.

My babies were laughing with Bri until I came over there. "Y'all wanna go to Nanna's house tonight?" They both nodded their head. "What I tell y'all about that? Answer with words please!" They both said yes ma'am & ran into the living room to watch tv.

"Okay, I love you girl. I'm bout to head out! I'll be back around 9:45 to pre-game, so you need to be getting ready!" I just shook my head. "I love you toooo! Boys, come say bye to your auntie!" They said bye & hugged her & went back to watching tv.

I walked her out & went into the living room with the boys. "Y'all wanna go to the park up the street for a minute?" They nodded their head so fast. "Yes ma'am!" They put their shoes back on & stood by the door. I slipped some slides on since we were just going to the park.

We walked there & I let them go freely but where I can still see them. I walked to a bench & sat down. After a while, a man came & sat by me. We smiled at each other. I double looked because he looked familiar & I'm guessing the same for him.

"Excuse me, did you go to Creekside Prep?" It is him. "I did-Michael? Is that you?" He smiled. "In the flesh!! Loren, I haven't seen you in years!" We both laughed. Time definitely did him justice. This man was fine! "I see you still fine after all these years!" I started blushing. "Boy stop, I can definitely say the same for you!" I said while looking him up & down. He started smiling.

"Is that your daughter? She's gorgeous!" He smiled looking her way. "Yeah that's Juliana but we call her Jules! Twins? I've always wanted twins!" We? Who is we? "Yeah, Jalyn & Jadyn" We talked some more until the boys started getting hungry.
