Chapter 3

As the werewolf faints and falls into his arms, they slowly turn back into their human form. He was mesmerized, the werewolf he had been obsessing over for weeks and weeks at a time was finally revealing its human side.  Whether it was intentional or not, he couldn't wait to see what the werewolf looked like. As the mist slowly cleared away from their body, his eyes widened. He took in all of their features. Their gray hair and beard, their muscular frame, their chiseled face... It looked as if they had been made from marble, with an artist slowly chipping away at the stone before revealing the body of a Greek god. He couldn't look away. Then, he remembered why the werewolf had fallen into this state, it was because of him. So, to help out the one who gave him such delicious blood, he decided to take them to his home and patch them up.  Slowly, dragging the body of this giant werewolf, he finally reached his home. His mission, rather, he unlocks the door and then pulls the enormous werewolf into the main hallway. Grabbing his first aid kit and patches the bite wound. This was a strange thing for Vlad to do, cleaning up wounds he caused and everything, but for some reason, he felt he needed to do this. Like, he owed this to the wolf. This need to fix his mistakes is so new to him, he was part of the reason the wars started, so maybe this is morality coming back to him after years and years of immortality. Maybe, this was okay... maybe this was a good start to a friendship, something that he had lacked for most of his life. Once he finished bandaging wounds and sitting up the knocked-out body, he took a step back and started looking back at his notes. The notes he had taken about this wolf, their society, the wars from their perspectives, everything. Most importantly, the wolf that sat in front of him, had fascinated the vampire. The way they were built and how aggressive they was was so interesting. He decided to look over his notes until the wolf woke up.

 (sorry this is so short i wanted to make sure i got at least one more chapter out before i leave on a trip)
