I walk into maths class with my head held high first impressions count and I have to make this ri-....

I can see Jake, the boy I saw on the bus!!! I go and sit next to him.

"Hi, I'm new here." I say. What was I thinking of course he knew I was new!

"Hi I'm Jake, and you are?"

"I'm Beth, sorry its just your eyes are so- I mean you have something in your eye I think." I say. Oh my god why did I have to say that, I blush and he notices.

"Sorry I'm late." The girl who was mean to me walks in. "GET OF MY CHAIR!!" She shouts in a girls whiny voice as if she was 3 and she hadn't got her own way. I move without realising I wasn't going to be next to Jake...she keeps talking to him I know I said no girl dram but seriously when you see the person you have a crush on talking to the girl who was mean to you, yeah think the drama is gonna come some time...and I guess it had to be now, I mean we get to sit wherever we want, so I don't get why it's HER seat.

Luckily Mimi walks in, she comes over and sits next to me. "Did you sit in Rosie's seat by any chance?" She says.

"How did you guess?" I say just as the bell goes.

"Hey guess what I have a crush-

Normally I wouldn't tell these things but I have to I have to let it all out!!

It's Jake!" I tell Mimi.

"No, no you can't do that!" Mimi says in complete horror.

"Why not?" Sounding very surprised that she wasn't happy for me!

"Because Rosie went out with him!" She says finally letting her mouth be in sync where it can actually speak probably.

"So they aren't together now anyway I'm asking him on a date tomorrow night, I was thinking cinema?" I say as Mimi's face is in fear.

"Look if something goes wrong you can say I told you so now come on the bells about to go!!" I say as I drag Mimi along the way so we can get to dance quickly.

The bell just goes as we get there but we are still put down as a late mark...

After dance we go to the canteen, all I can think about I Jake! I see him walking by.

"Hey what you doing tonight?" I ask.

"Nothing really you?" He replies as if he knows what I'm going to ask.

"Nothing that's why I was wondering if you would like to come to the cinema with me tonight or tomorrow night? I say trying to keep calm. But then I realise I can't do tonight because I'm going shopping with Mimi!

"Yeah I can come tonight, i'll pick you up at 9." He says. Then he turns round and walks away.

"Sorry mimi! I didn't mean to do it tonight." I say trying to make it for tomorrow.

"Don't worry I can do it tomorrow! That's what friends are for!" She says surprisingly happy still.

We have a free period which will be home after anyway so I go home and get ready for tonight!!

I'm in the bathroom for about 1 hour! I put my purple dress on and tights with boot heels, I feel strange, I feel like my mum, she was beautiful, she died in a car crash when I was little so it has just been me and my dad for basically all I can actually remember, she used to go to the uni I won't to go to when I'm older.

I can hear a knock downstairs, it must be Jake! I rush downstairs get my cost and open the door. It's him, his car is amazing red and cool! We are going to see I'd give it a year!

"Wow you look beautiful, I mean hi" he says in compete shock.

"You too, well not beautiful but, sorry you know what I mean. Bye dad!" I shout to my dad.

We get in the car and drive off..........

When we leave I can feel shivers going down my spine because I am so nervous. I don't know what to expect of him. Will it be good? Will we have a bad date? I'm being Mimi I've gotta get out more.

I'm going to enjoy this date, friend going out, whatever you wanna call it!

We arrive at the cinema, I feel sick but have to hold it in. He opens the door and takes my hand and lifts me out of the car, what a gentlemen.

We step into the cinema, walk up the stairs and sit down in our seats. After a while he does the move, he stretches over and puts his arm around me, he snuggles into me, I put my head in him and I see his cheek bones move as if he was-smiling. I think this means we are together, as much as I didn't want any of this, for once it actually, it actually feels good. He kisses my head as if he was putting me to bed and saying goodnight to me. I don't know what it is when see him but its as if, yeah this is gonna sound cheesy but who cares...as if we were made for each other, that's what my mum and dad said about each other before my mum passed away. I'm not going to move his arm or anything because it does honestly feel good.

The movie finishes and we walk out together. "I'll give you a lift home, if you want" Jake asks.

"Yeah okay, thanks!" I reply, without making it obvious that I totally want him to take me home, it's was as if I was in a movie and the prince was walking me home, but obviously that's not real and that's just my imagination, but it could be true you know.

We get into the car again he takes my hand and I get into the car, we drive off, he's a very good driver, I know that it's nothing to do with anything but he honestly is, anyway we get back home, in a movie he would walk me to my door and kiss me on the lips and the leave. "I have had a fantastic time with you Jake, thankyou." I say trying not to imagine the dream if the kiss.

"Thank-" I try to say thank you but by the time I get to thank me and him are kissing on the lips, his eyes were closed and his lips were warm. We finish kissing. "You" I end my word whispering to him.

"I don't know what it is with you but whenever I'm with you I feel human, real, someone that I can be myself around." He says still whispering.

"I love you" he says whitest hugging me tightly. He lets go and goes back to his car. One date and we have already kissed, this must be real, me and him are together.
