Just One Kiss

Keith's POV

I pull into the studio parking lot for our first day of shooting Idol. As I pull in I see Ryan and Jennifer's car but not Harry's, I guess he's a little late. I walked in just as Jen was coming out of her dressing room. She was wearing a tight stunning dark blue dress.

"Wow, Jen, you look stunning."

"Thanks Keith, you're looking very nice yourself.

My cheeks turned red just as Ryan came walking down the hall.

"Hey you two, have either of you seen Harry?"

"Nope, but I can try to text him."

I grabbed my phone out of the back pocket of my slightly worn black jeans.

*Hey, Harry, we're supposed to be airing in 20 minutes, we're all waiting for you, text me back.*

4 minutes later...

*Oh hey Keith, sorry. I'm driving in the parking lot right now."

Harry's POV

I drove into the lot and parked beside Ryan's car. I hurried into the building.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late, got stuck in traffic."

"It's fine Harry, just hurry up and get ready."

Jennifer's POV

Me and Keith sat in our chairs in the audition room waiting for Harry to come out. I sat in the middle and Keith sat on the right of me.

We were sitting, waiting for at least 4 minutes for Harry.

"So, Keith how are you and Nicole doing?"

"Actually Jen, Nicole and I are getting a divorce." Keith started to play with his ring.

"Oh Keith, sorry to hear that, you doing ok?"

"Um, I'm ok, I mean we had 9 good years, I guess in the end, it just wasn't meant to be."

"Yea, well I guess 9 years is better than no years, but if you need a shoulder to cry on or even just someone to talk to, I'm here for you."

"Thanks Jen, but I know sobbing about it won't make anything better so I'm just gonna stay strong."

Jen leaned over to give me a hug.

Finally Harry came in.

"What's going on?"

"Just comforting Keith."

"And why does Keith need comforting?" Harry said in a weird and silly voice.

"Because him and Nicole are getting a divorce."

"Oh, Keith, are you ok?" Harry sat down in his seat while looking over at Keith.

"Yes I'm fine, shouldn't we be shooting now?"

"Yea actually, lets start since Harry's finally here"

"Oh please Jen, I didn't take that long."

"Harry, you took longer than Jen did."

Harry jokingly rolled his eyes at Keith.

"Whatever I'm here so let's start before I leave again."

Ryan's POV

"We ready to start?" I came into the audition room.

"Yes we are so go get out there." Jen demanded in a joking way.

I walked to the front area where I interview the contestants.

Keith's POV

The first contestant came walking in, she was a girl.

"Hi baby, what's your name?"

"My name is Mackenzie."

"Nice to meet you Mackenzie, how old are you?"

"I'm 17 years old."

"I hope your voice sounds older than you are." Harry joked.

"Harry!" I gave him a serious stare.

"And what are you going to sing today?" Jen asked to try and break the silence.

"I'm going to sing Set Fire to the Rain by Adele."

"Ok, start whenever you're ready."

Jennifer's POV

She sang really well, she made it through to Hollywood. As the day progressed on many people had made it through. It was a long and exhausting day, and finally it came to an end.
