below is my cast of characters from the many and varied universes i've created. don't feel obliged to read the entire list, unless you'd like to: this is mostly for my own reference.

Badass. Bond trader; works on Wall Street. Bisexual. Japanese. Hot af. Magical powers.

ALINA KOROLEVA.
Hot and dangerous. Sociopath. Will kill you without a second thought. Trained sniper; fond of guns and daggers. Poison is also up her alley. Bisexual. Russian. Red lips and a black heart.

JULIAN HAVOC.
Your classic bad boy. Runs a spy network. Fond of guns and alcohol; perhaps overly so. Witty.

ELECTRIC KEAHI.
Shameless flirt. Can glamour and charm people. Very gay. Mixed Black/Pacific Islander. Stellar fashion sense.

ALEXANDRIA BORDEAUX.
Sexy and French. Grew up in Normandy. Loves art, literature, music, and anthropology. Curvy. Black. Sapphic. Speaks a lot of languages.

SAGE ARMANI.
Soldier, bodyguard, and everything in between. Skilled in using all manner of weapons; has a dagger strapped to their thigh at all times. Nonbinary, pansexual. Black. Has a passion for everything green.

LUCI PARADIS.
Light academia princess. Loves roses and long dresses. Into all manner of embroidery and sewing. Lesbian. Accomplished ballerina.

LAWRENCE PARADIS.
Yes, they're related. Heroic prince charming. Into science. Likes watching things explode. Good with a sword, but not nearly as good as Sage.

VASSILISA KUZNETSOVA.
Dark and poetic assassin. Prefers knives and poison. Skilled spy and thief. Ambitious, angry, and refined. Alina's cousin.

CHARUN MAHARAJ.
Slightly awkward alchemist. Skilled healer. Also experienced at crafting poisons, though this is a skill he uses rarely. He and Lawrence spend hours fangirling over engineering projects. Hopelessly in love with Electric. Magical powers.

AVRIL D'ARBRE.
Magical. Ethereal. Silk, satin, tea, pretty bows and arrows. Black. Converses with the forest. Guarded, quiet, and unspeakably powerful.

CALDERAS.
Chosen one. Soft but swift. Could easily kill you but would likely rather not. Dark skin, messy hair, forest eyes. Conduit for the power of an ancient earth spirit.

ALISTAIR ALVERO.
Illusionist. Circus ringmaster vibes. Carmel skin, silver eyes, hair dyed paper-white with the ends dipped in dark red. Trans and bisexual. Smokes too many cigarettes. Stay away from his chocolate or choose death.

PACIFIC XELAE.
Siren. Blue skin, blue hair, blue eyes. Ethereal and terrifying. Sapphic. Immortal.

RIVIERA ALDEZ.
Card tricks and gambling. Likes to put on a show. Eyeliner is always on point. Models and is very into fashion design and history. Non-binary and aroace. Secretly draws everyone they see, but do not ever touch their sketchbook or ask to see their work. They'll show you when they show you, if they do.

ALTERA ALDER.
Also known as "the Silvertongue." Prophetic poet who frequently speaks in riddles and can compel anyone to do anything by means of magic. Nobility. Very smart. Linguist and logician. Don't mess with her.

AMETHYST ALDER.
Related, again. Clairvoyant: can see the future, but only through images that often don't make sense. Doesn't deliver prophecies or the like; that's Altera's job. Genderfluid: male during the day and female at night (including evening\early morning). Into architecture.

ATLANTIC.
Deeply poetic. Dark skin with veins of silver running through it, like kintsugi. Silver eyes. Magical: controls anything inanimate. Silver beads and chains are woven into her hair. Bisexual. Desperately needs therapy.

MARIA.
Atlantic's opposite, kind of. Controls anything living. Lighter skin with gold veins running through it. Asexual but not aromantic. Crown of thorns on her head. Surefooted and goal-oriented.

DRAKE.
Troubled but will never say as much. Lost his magical powers to a poison long ago. Deep green eyes and hair against olive skin. Graceful but harsh. Needs therapy even more than Atlantic.
