Chapter 9

"We're here!!!!" Taylor yelled

Uggggh. Taylor better not be planning anything that makes me want to kill her

"Put these on" Liam hands me and Harry blindfolds

"Sure!" Harry grabs his and puts it on

"No way" I shook by head and crossed my arms

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!" Liam makes puppy dog eyes

Hmmmmmm.... Well I mean Liam WAS the one who told me stay away from Harry.... So it can't be that bad whatever they have planned....

"Fine" I sigh, taking the blindfold and putting it on.

The last thing I see is Taylor's smile

Harry's POV

I let the blindfold blind my sight. Someone's hand grabbed my arm, it felt like Liam maybe? I stepped out the door and felt the hot air hit my bare arms. I was wearing my beanie outfit. My legs let whoever was guiding me, guide me along a path of some sort. Cold air of air conditioning hit me suddenly.

"How many tickets?" A female voice asked

"2. And it's for-" Liam said, the rest I couldn't hear. I was led inside and my nostrils were filled with the delicious aroma of popcorn. So we were at the movies. How original.

"Liam! Over here now!" I heard Zoey yell

"Ya?"

She whispered something and he chuckled

"The girls convinced me otherwise" he chuckled

The girls convinced him what??? What did Zoey tell him?

I was shoved someone yanked my blindfold off.

"Bye guys!!! Have fun!!" Liam yelled. He locked the movie theatre and left me and Zoey alone in the darkness of the empty movie theatre.

"Wooooow" I laughed and shook my head

"I don't think this is very funny" Zoey frowned

"Why not?" I smirked

"Because..." She sighed and took a seat. I sat down next to her and she tensed

"Why so tense?"

"I don't wanna be here. Not now. Not ever." She snapped

My heart felt like it was forever gone

"What?" I stuttered out

She didn't look at me for the whole movie which was, Les miserabelé. I kept looking over at her and she cried a couple times. Mostly the death scenes. She had such beautiful eyes......

"Why are you staring at me?!" She snapped

I wirled out of my thoughts and my cheeks reddend

"I'm not"

"Ya. It's creepy please stop." She growled

"Well I'm sorry if I'm trying to make this work!" I yell getting up

"Make what work? There is no this Harry. Just me. And just you."

Why was she being so mean?

"What did you say!?"

Oops.

"I'm not being mean!"

"Yes you are!! If this is because of what happened last night-"

"Nothing happened!!" She yelled quickly. A little too quickly. She blushed.

"Nothing happened" she repeated, her voice shaking

"Hey," I stepped toward her

"Tell me what's really wrong." My face was now inches from hers

"I can't....." She looked down

"You can" I lifted her chin up with my finger. I felt her breathing heavily

"I can't fall in love" her eyes filled with tears

"I mean I have the ability.... But if I do..... I'll get hurt again..."

"Who hurt you?" I whispered

"This guy I dated Tommy...." Tears were streaming silently down her face

"I fell or him.... Hard. We dated and he was really sweet. But.... About 5 months in...." She paused

"And I found out..." Her voice shaked "he was secretly making fun of my biological parents behind my back with his best friend Sam." She cried more and I wiped a tear away from her face.

I looked deep into her eyes

"I would never do that to you" I whispered, holding her hands.

"But how do I know that Harry!?! How? I swore to myself never to fall in love again. And that's why I can't fall in love with you.... No matter how much I want to" She pulled away from me

I went back to her, our faces inches away again.

"Zozo...." I held her face in my hands

"I would never hurt you like that. I'm not that much of an ass"

She chuckled at that

"I would never hurt you like that" I repeated

I leaned in and our lips met
