You enter the house in the clumsiest way possible. Backpack falling to one side, books to the other side and envelopes of mail between your teeth as you try to lock the door without letting anything fall out.

"Auntie, I'm home!" You shout as best you can, but your voice is muffled by your teeth clenched against the paper. When you finally manage to close the door, you arrange your backpack on your shoulder and take the envelopes out of your mouth, resting them on top of the books in your hand afterwards.

You frown when you hear no answer and start looking for your aunt. "Nat?" you ask as you enter the kitchen, but the presence of a woman you don't know surprises you.

She looks at you with tender green eyes and you feel your stomach turn slightly. "Hi, you must be (Y/n)." The woman says with a warm smile as she approaches you with her hand outstretched.

It's too much information. The husky voice that invades your ears and sends shivers throughout your body. The most beautiful and illuminating smile you have ever seen. The way she walks, that is both shy and confident at the same time. It's too much information and your brain is too busy processing all the details of the woman in front of you to think of a decent presentation.

"Y-yeah, that's, uh, that's me." You say stuttering and with a silly smile on your face as you shake her hand. She laughs softly at your embarrassment and your mouth goes dry when you feel how soft her hand is.

"(Y/n), you're home!" Your aunt's voice startles you and you quickly turn away from the unknown woman, as if shaking her hand is the most inappropriate thing you could do.

Nat hugs you with a warm smile on her face and then moves her hand toward the other woman. "(Y/n/n), this is Wanda." She introduces and Wanda waves her hand saying a soft "hi" with a low chuckle and you feel your stomach do somersaults. It's not fair how beautiful this woman is.

"It's nice to meet you, Wanda." You say with a friendly smile, trying to pull yourself together and Wanda smiles again, you notice a glint cross her eyes for a brief second but you can't really identify what it means.

Nat guides you to the kitchen table and you soon start talking. You find out that Nat and Wanda were close friends in college but have lost touch with each other over time. But today they met at the supermarket and Nat invited her to have coffee at your place.

You also find out that Wanda has two ten-year-old twin sons, Billy and Tommy, and you rebuke yourself for the slight joy you feel when she mentions that she's not married.

Wanda asks about you and you tell her that you're currently taking the sixth semester of the chemistry course at NYU and that you're a monitor at the municipal school a few blocks away. Wanda seems very interested in you and in what you say, and you can't help the chill in your stomach you feel every time your eyes meet hers.

The three of you talk some more and you try to disguise the number of times your eyes unconsciously search for Wanda. She, probably because she notices you looking at her, also looks at you constantly and you feel your cheeks blushing every time.

A few hours go by until Wanda gets up, saying she has to pick up her children at her ex-husband's house, and you say goodbye. Wanda hugs you and you feel your body melt with the warmth of her body against yours and the sweet smell of her perfume.

For God's sake, (Y/n), get a hold of yourself! You think as you watch your aunt guide Wanda to the front door. When Nat joins you again, you feel that you've pulled yourself together.

You talk a little about how each other's day went, but soon you say you have to go upstairs to work on some assignments for college. You go to your room, but all you do all night is think about Wanda.
