It's never usually this quiet in this sort of town. But when it is you can truly appreciate how peaceful everything is.

Ink feels the cool breeze brush past his face, closing his eyes, smelling the salty air of the ocean.

"I really like this, it's quiet...." Error states as he stares off into the horizon. Ink hums in agreement, not finding it in him to say something stupid to ruin the moment.

Error closes his eyes, being suddenly overwhelmed with drowsiness, Ink wouldn't mind if he slept for a while, right? But the realisation of him being the one who suggested to come here in the first place, and pulling the artist away from his work hit him, and he forced his eyes to stay open.

"Squid", or "Stupid" in Error's case, opens his eyes to look Error's way, noticing his exhaustion.

The feeling of being watched hit him like a ton of bricks, he was always used to being stared at. He looked Ink directly in his eyes.
"Sorry, I'm just being rude....again..." Error's sad and exhausted look really pulls on Ink's heart strings.
"You're not being rude, I'm used to it so I don't mind...".....Did Error hear that right? He was 'used to it'.....No, that's not okay. Now he 𝘩𝘢𝘥 to say something.
"That's not a good thing, ya know...." Error couldn't help the sad tone that crept into his voice.

Ink stay silent, which is worrying, because he is never one to silence a conversation. He pulls his knees to his chest, and sighs, clearly not wanting to have this conversation right now.

"Ink, is something going on that you're not telling me about.....?" Now Error was really worried–no, worried was an understatement– he was beyond worried, he was distraught.

Finally, after long minutes of silence, Ink replied; "No, I'm just..... feeling a little weird..."
Yeah, that was right, Ink was feeling "weird". Weird was perfect to describe the constant butterfly's in his stomach. Weird was perfect to describe how he got all flushed, and embarrassed when he did something stupid around  𝘩𝘪𝘮. Right now he was feeling all of those things, because he was around 𝘩𝘪𝘮. 𝘏𝘪𝘮 being 𝘌𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘳.

"Oh? What do you mean by that? Are you sick or something?" Error paused to chuckle, "If you are I bet it was the school's stupid food, they never make it properly" Error takes a moment and then scowls at the end of his sentence. While what he was saying was true, he truly 𝘥𝘪𝘥 hate the school's food, it maybe wasn't the right reaction to Ink's problem.

Ink smiles slightly, amused by how Error could change moods so quickly. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦, Ink thought. Ink never told anyone but he was always making a mental list of things he had in common with Error, but he always ended up forgetting, of course.

"Heh, yeah i think the food did something to me" Error wouldn't care, so why should he try anymore? It was pointless—
"I knew it! I swear to one day bring my own lunch.....When I can be bothered to pack it though" Error cringed very obviously at the mention of being not lazy at all.

Ink let out a airy laugh. "That is 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 relatable"

While Ink was an artist, he spent most of the rest of his free time doing nothing. Well, nothing isn't the right word, he's more so thinking of Error, or caught up in his own other thoughts.
