"Okay you guys" The coach exhaled sharply as he got in the gym with all the basketball players looking at him. All the basketball players were getting ready to practice, they were just warming up since next week, there will be a basketball championship.

"We will need to practice in the old gym" the coach said as all of the boys groaned and was aggravated by this sudden announcement. "But coach why!" Caleb groaned while scratching his hair up. "Yeah coach, we can't practice on that shitty old gym!" Finn added while shrugging off as Caleb glanced at him. "Language Wolfhard!" The coach hissed then sighed heavily and cursed under his breathe, he knew that these boys were going to get frustrated.

Caleb and Finn were giving annoyed glances at the coach as they tried to keep themselves calmed. Otherwise they'll throw hands.

"Our practice will be held in the old gym today since this gym will be used by the volleyball players, they'll pra-" The coach didn't finished his sentence since Finn, Caleb and the others groans dramatically again. "Come on! What's with the volleyball players! Can't they just practice on that old gym? Or get somewhere else to practice on?!" Caleb hissed as he right now wanted to beat something up out of frustration.

Then the coach just sighed and told them to get their stuff fixed up since the volleyball players will arrive
so—and there they are. A bunch of girls with sports bags, wearing a sleeveless shirts and a bunch of shorts;wearing some white shoes entered the gym while chit-chatting. It caught Caleb's attention, that's why he turns around and saw the girls.

He thought that those volleyball players were boys, which literally pissed him off just by thinking of it. But, he was wrong. It was girls. He looked at the girls then his eyes landed on a girl with a ginger hair, blue eyes, pale skin, some freckles you can see from afar. He was starstruck to be honest.

His lips were slightly apart, just by looking at her he was drowning from her beauty. 'oh fuck' he thought. Is this how love at first sight feels?. The girl suddenly turned around to face the volleyball and basketball coach. Her last name is 'sink' which was printed on her volleyball uniform. "What are you looking at Reginald?" Finn asked as he laughed, slightly nudging his shoulders.

"Oh for fucks sake Finn stop calling me that" he was annoyed since he really wanted to practice in this new gym, but I guess the volleyball players will be the first one to experience a new gym. "Chill out Caleb!" Finn laughed then glanced at the girl with brown short hair, who was a bit small which her last name is "Brown", also printed in the back of her shirt.

"Come here boys" the coach shouted which all the boys came down to approach him. Then Caleb stood next to that ginger haired girl as he looked down to her and met her eyes. The girl looked up at him with a straight face as she raised her eyebrows. Which Caleb just rolled his eyes on her. "This is Ms. Williams, the coach of NorthWest Eagles" Williams smiled and waved at the boys and girls in front of her.

"Lame name" Caleb muttered looking away scratching his neck and chuckled under his breathe. "What did you say?" The girl asked loud enough to be heared by one of the girls. "None of your business ginger bread" he said backing up a bit while his tone was mixed of annoyance and sarcasm. Then the girl just scoffed and thought to herself "you'll pay for this one, Mclaughlin".

//an hour later//

The boys and girls had just finished their practice and was called to come in the new gym to get and eat their lunches. Caleb was finding Finn when he suddenly saw him, sitting next to a girl from NorthWest Eagles flirting with a brown haired girl. "Getting a girlfriend real quick huh" he said to himself, a bit loud since no one was there. Or so, that's what he thought.

"Talking to yourself huh, Mclaughlin?" Sink interrupted him with a smirk and her arms crossed. "Why do you care, Sink?" He said in a hoars voice while raising an eyebrow on her as he looked down with a smirk. Then Sink laughed at him.

"You NorthWest Eagles or whatever, ruined our practice. We were supposed to be the one experiencing this fucking new court first!" he raised his voice while gripping on his towel while looking down at her. Their height differences...it was a bit too much. "It's not our fault we girlbossed it out by practicing at your precious new gym here!" Sink said as she mimicked Caleb's voice at the end of her sentence while giving him a laugh.

It was few moments of silence with them just glaring at each other. Caleb thought for a minute as he looked at the girl in front of him. "What's your name, Sink?" he asked. "Sadie, and you?" Sadie raised an eyebrow again as a smirk was plastered all over her face. "Caleb." he said.

To be honest, he found her really pretty. He thought he was in love, maybe he is. Still, he chose to play it cool, you know;go with the flow or be the flow. Then Caleb grins and exhales sharply.

"Do you want me to stop annoying you?" the dark skinned boy asked while shrugging. "Of course I do, who doesn't?" she said as she licked the bottom of her lips while fixing her locks. "Then date me" he said with full confidence as if he was just challenging her. But he's not going to lie, it wasn't a joke.

"Bet" she said smirking at him with arms crossed, not breaking the eye contact. "You'll really go out with me huh, Sink?" he said in deep voice while tilting his head and looking down at her. "I want to see if you won't annoy me again, even if we just met" she chuckled which made Caleb laugh under his breath.

"Mclaughlin! Your lunch!" The coach shouted which made Caleb's eyes roll again. "See you later, Mclaughlin" Sadie said while grinning up at him. "Bet.." he said as he got going, walking backwards to still see her. Which made Sadie laugh. Then Caleb winked at her as Sadie just gave him a smirk.

What a pleasent day to get a date it is.
