"I can't believe that lady kocho is getting married soon! Are you excited?" Shinobu's lady in waiting asked while doing her bun.Kocho rolled her eyes she didn't want to get married so young she was only 18.But she didn't want to responded rudely so she just shrugged.Her lady in waiting smiled before asking if she needed anything else."No thank you,Your allowed to leave" kocho said staring at herself in the mirror.Her lady in waiting bowed and thanked her before leaving.As she left,her mother's words echoed in her ears.
"Your going to met your soon to be wife today so please be polite".
Kocho was still surprise that her mother let her marry a woman and not a man.She had asked her why and her mother responded that since kanae was straight and the oldest her daughter or son could be next in line and that they didn't really need kocho.The last part hurt her feelings a bit but she understood.The only problem was that they were chosing her wife.The only thing she knew was that the unknown woman was also a princess and that she was the oldest of her family.So did that mean kocho would become queen along side the woman in her kingdom?There were to many questions unanswered and her parents wouldn't tell her a thing about the woman.Not even her hair color or her eye color not even what she was like.She only knew that the woman was the oldest of her family because of the people around her.Like tomioka,he always came every once in a while to tell her things that her parents never did.Tomioka came from a different kingdom not so far away it was only a 2 hour 'drive'.
Kocho turned when she heard a knock on her window.It was tomioka he was staring at her.She quickly got up and opened it."What are you doing here?" She asked confused."And why didn't you come though the door?" She asked again.Tomioka shrugged and climbed into her room."I heard you meeting your soon to be wife today,I just came to wish you luck" He said looking around.Kocho rolled her eyes "I don't need luck" she said crossing her arms."Mhm" Tomioka said not believing her.
"And isn't it your wedding soon? What are you doing here?" Kocho's asked the last time she had talked to giyuu was a month ago when he had told her what his parents announced."Tell me about him" Kocho said shaking giyuu.She needed to know what this guy was like."He's always angry and frustrated,I don't get what's his deal" Giyuu said digging into his pocket."What does he look like?" Kocho asked imaging his image in her head."Short messy white hair and pale purple eyes,he haves lots of scars on his face and probably on his arms as well,so many scars that sabito and nee-san started calling him scar man"Kocho had met sabito and Tsutako once.Tsutako was giyuu's older sister who he loved dearly.And sabito was one of his closes friends."So have you met your wife,yet?"Kocho shook her head before there was a knock at her door."Lady kocho your mother haves asked me to tell you to come down stairs"Tomioka smiled as he sat on top of kocho's bed."Good luck" he said before laying down.Shinobu rolled her eyes and left tomioka.She wasn't nervous should she be?
She walked down the palace stairs to find her mother sitting across from a woman.The woman has long pink hair with green tips and green eyes she had a fancy pink and white dress with a few hair accessories."This is kanjiro mitsuri,your soon to be wife" Her mother said smiling at Shinobu.Kocho sighed silently as she sat down next to kanjiro.Mitsuri smiled at her and kocho smiled back.She had to get used to being around the woman.Well the woman was indeed beautiful but kocho didn't know anything about her.Soon her mother started talking again about their wedding.Where it would be,who would be invited and other things.These were things that mitsuri and Shinobu would decided.Which was so bad.
"Well you two can get to know each other,kanjiro would be staying here as well just for a bit until the wedding is planed" Her mother said getting up and leaving.When she was gone kocho turned to mitsuri they stared at each other."Do you like baking?" Kanjiro asked smiling again."I have never tried it before" Kocho responded that was true why would she bake when she had 100 chefs to make whatever she looked at."I guess that makes sense,I have baked I love it! It's really fun but it can get messy we could try it one day! She said clapping her hands.Kocho nodded and found herself smiling again.
Was she already liking this woman?
"Well what do you do on your free time like a hobby?" Mitsuri asked playing with her hair."I like to paint or be in nature".Shinobu loved painting and nature she always found herself painting outside in her free time ."That's nice,I like to sleep or eat I love food!" Mitsuri said smiling again.Kocho smiled back.
Maybe marrying this woman wouldn't be so bad?
