I ran to the nearest trash can to hide. My chest starts to feel heavy making it hard to breathe. I peek from the side of the trash can. I see them trying to find me and talking among themself then I turn around and push my back against the can all of sudden it decides to fall making a BANG on the ground.
“Crap, I think they notice..”, talking to myself.
I see in the corner of my eye one of them walking towards me. My body didn’t move an inch and I knew that he was coming closer with a smirk on his face. He singal the other to come where I am then my heart feels like it drops to my stomach.
“Look, I found our little mouse,'' he announced loud enough for the others to hear. The other came where I am and My body started to feel like it wanted to shut down. I wasn’t able to say anything, just my mouth semi opened.
“Aww, Our little mouse wants to say something”, the girl mentioned. The four other people just giggled and laughed seeing how weak I was. One of them passed a soda to the girl. She opened it and spilled it all over me and they took my backpack open and dropped all my things to the ground. After a couple minutes of them bothering me they leave then I pick up my stuff putting them back into my backpack. I entered the restroom. My hair and clothes are all wet. I forgot to pack extra clothes in case I thought they wouldn’t notice me. I get toilet paper to dry my clothes. It took the whole school day for them to fully dry.
Once school ended I walked home and opened my house door. The mood of the house felt different making me uncomfortable. I went to check in the kitchen to see if my older sister Lisa was there in the kitchen, but she isn’t which weird me out normally she is always there. I walk to my Lisa’s room to see if she is there or not. She wasn’t there, so I checked every room in the house and I couldn't find her. She didn’t leave a note at all. I got my cell phone out and called her number but just went to voicemail. So I wait to see if she comes back before our mom comes back from work. So I sat down on the sofa in the living room.
After waiting for hours to see if Lisa came back but she hasn’t only our mom coming back from home. My mom goes to her room and leaves her things and heads to the living room where I am. She notices my worried expression.
"Oliver , What's wrong?", she questioned.
"Mom, Lisa isn't in the house. I also tried calling her but it went to voicemail." , I said looking down on the floor.
"What!? She normally is at home and she would text me when she is going out.", She exclaimed.
"Ma..I think we should report her missing. It's been hours even before you came back home." I suggested.
"Alright.. but stay here in case she comes back, so stay in look out." she mumbled.
After a few minutes my mom left. I heard a knock on the door, so I headed there and checked the peephole to see that it's my childhood friend Jun. I opened the door and let him go inside. Jun has been my childhood friend since I was 2 even though he was 3 years older than me by 3 years. I always admired him and I still do. His hair was black hair was longer, taller, and seemed a bit more buff than last time I saw him.
"Hey Jun, what are you doing here?" , I asked.
“I just want how you are” , he responded.
“I’m alright”, I said.
“I’m glad to hear you’re doing well”, He smiled. He adds, “Have you heard that some people have gone missing and that might have gone to a different world near the garden of the park. Some people say it's a rumor.”
“Oh, that's interesting.." I stated.
"Indeed it is! Well I'll see you tomorrow", he commented.
I wave him goodbye. He leaves throughout the door. After he left I locked the door and I headed to my bedroom. I sat down on my bed and what he said made me think , what if Lisa is there in that different world, but no that can't be even if I go my grades and opportunities will miss out. All of that overthinking made me fall asleep.
“Hey, wake up”, a random female called out.
I wake up and see a girl I have never seen before at all. Her hair was light brown, her eyes were hazel,she was wearing a beautiful white dress and seemed around Jun age. I looked around and I wasn’t in my room but in the forest.
“Where am I?”, I questioned.
“No, time for that. My name is Moa and you need to save your sister.” she pleaded and added, “You’ll find me later on, just go to the garden of the park.” After that Moa leaves and I wake up and see that I am in my room. I check the time and day it’s 9:00 am on a saturday.
I head to the dining room and see my mom sitting on the chair with her head layed down. I go up to her and tap her back. She wakes up and puts her head up.
“Mom, I’ll be heading to Jun's house. Is that fine?”, I asked.
“Alright, but just to text me when you get there and if you see your sister text me.”,she answered.
I nodded then headed to the door and I went outside and locked the door. I start walking to Jun’s house. Once I got there I knocked on the door and he opened it.
“Hey, Jun is fine if I enter?” I asked.
“Yeah it’s fine,” he says. He walks towards his living room and sits down on his sofa. I follow and sit down next to him.
"The reason I came is my sister has gone missing. I had a dream of this person telling me to go to the garden of the park and that my sister might be there" I replied.
"I'll come with you if you don't mind. I won't go without you, but let me get my jacket", he responds.
Jun and I got up from the sofa. I go outside and wait for him. He closes the door behind him.
"Alright let's head out there to find Lisa", he exclaimed.
After a few minutes walking to the garden of the park. We see something different hiding behind a rose bush. Once we see what it is, it looks like a portal that you normally see in fantasy movies or comic books. Both of us look at each other to see who enters.
"I'll go in first then you follow behind me", I implied.
"Alright, but be careful", Jun hesitated.
I head in first then Jun. I look around the forest and see the girl named Moa. Jun looks around unfamiliar places.
"You made it! Both of you are going to need to follow me" she says.
"How can we trust you?" I asked.
"Because, there your sister guards are close here. It'll be much safer if y'all come with me" she responded.
"Wait, what do you mean my sister?" I questioned.
"I'll answer that once we get there to the safe place", she answered.
"Oliver we should follow her, also we are in an unknown place. I think it's best to follow her", Jun assured.
"Fine.." I sighed.
"Alright, follow me" Moa reassures.
Once we get the place. The place looks small but yet nice. Also smelled like floral with an earthy scent. She looks out the windows to see if there are any people nearby.
"Y'all two can sit down on the chairs where my things are" she demands.
We followed what she said. Jun and I sit down on opposite sides. The girl moves her things and sits down.
"So kid, your sister came to our world and managed to take it over. You need to help your sister come back to your world" she informed.
"I'll do it but how will I find her" I stated.
"She is in the cave kinda far from here, but it's surrounded by her guards" she said.
"How about making a plan to get her? We'll go together to get her", Jun suggested.
"That's a good idea", she responded quickly.
We start planning how to get to Lisa. After taking hours to make the plan, we fall asleep on the table.
This was old assignment which was not completed which is very ew. However I'll complete it with the story that I will come out with soon. It will be similar but a bit different from this. I'll be continuing this series show old drafts from school assignment so yay. Feel free to comment I could improve. Also show support to my friend Kdsavage16 stories.
