Nobody's POV:

"Onii-chan!" You call out to your brother. "Y/n, what are you doing?" He asks. "Your going out to sell charcoal again, so I was putting Rokuta to sleep so he wouldn't fuss around when you leave. He misses dad after he passed away, and always clings on to you." You reply. Tanjiro outs his hand on Rokuta's head, smiling. "Safe travels!" You say, looking at his disappearing figure.

You then go back inside and put Rokuta on his futon. Then you start to do your daily house chores, like cleaning the house and washing the dishes. A few hours later, you were done. You turn around and see Hanako.

"Onee-san! You promised us that we would play tag, remember?" Your sister, Hanako said. "I remember, I was just cleaning the dishes and putting Rokuta to sleep. Now we can play, so start running! I'll give you guys a five second countdown. 5...4....3...."

Then your sister starts running away from you, while you chase her. You were not that fast, but you sure loved to run. A while later, you finally tagged Hanako. "Uh oh, I got tagged! Now its time for me to chase you Y/n!" Hanako says. You start running away from her while she chases you. You knew being small was an advantage. Being small would make you faster and be able to fit in smaller places.

Not that long into the game and Hanako tagged you. "Your so slow Onee-san!" She says. "Hey! I can be faster, just that I slow down when I'm playing with you." You lie. "I know your lying, but don't worry! You will become fast like me one day." You smile at her and then put her on your back.

"Come on, lets go help Okaa-San with dinner." You say. "Ok, lets go!" Hanako says. You guys head inside and help your mother make dinner. You decide to make f/f, because you guys voted on what dinner should be. After eating dinner, everyone prepares the futons.

You were helping Rokuta to get ready to sleep, when you hear a scream. You guys get out and see Hanako and your mother, bleeding. "Onee-chan, run away! Now!" Takeo says, even though you didn't want to run at all. The so called murder then kills Takeo and kills Rokuta, throwing him towards the door. "ROKUTA! TAKEO!" You yell. You were heading towards Rokuta when the man made a swift cut on your neck. You fall down on Rokuta, crying before blacking out.

Tanjiro's POV:

I thank Saburo-san before leaving his house. Halfway up the mountain, I smell something. 'The scent of blood!' I say in my thoughts. I run even faster and stop at the sight I'm seeing. Y/n and Rokuta, covered with blood.

I let out a scream while running to them. "Y/n! Rokuta! What happened here!?!?" I say. I look inside to see if the others were like them, and I was right. All of them, covered in their own blood. "Mom...Hanako...Takeo...Shigeru...Y/n...Rokuta..." I check to see if even any of them have the slightest bit of warmth.

I head to Y/n and see that shes still breathing. I carry her on my back and start running to town. 'How could this have happened?! Was it a bear who couldn't hibernate? Or was it something else...how could I have let this happen! Don't worry Y/n, I'll save you! I'll get you to a doctor!' I say in my thoughts.

Y/n wakes up, growling and moving around, causing me to slip on the snow and fall down the cliff. 'The snow caused me to fall, but at the same time it saved me!' I thought. I frantically look around for Y/n and see her leaning on a tree. "Y/n! Don't worry, you don't need to walk! I'll carry you to town and get you to a doctor! Y/n?" I say. She then lifts her face, showing slits in her eyes and bare fangs showing. She grabs on to my hands, trying to bite me. I put a hatchet in her mouth while she pushes me to the floor. 'Y/n....shes a demon!' I thought.

(Just a mini timeskip when Tanjiro meets giyuu and its proven that you don't eat humas blah blah blah. For some reason, even though I watched and Rewatched demon slayer so many times, I always forget the lines 💀)

Nobody's POV:

Tanjiro was praying to the ones who died while you just stand next to him.

"Okay Y/n, lets go."
