Standing awkwardly in line, Sunoo glared at Jungwon who sent him a thumbs up in response. I'm gonna kill him later, Sunoo thought.

Around 7 or 8 people stood in line with him which was not too many but just enough to make him nervous. Why did he ever agree to this? His fingers found the edges of his sleeves and he fiddled with them a bit. As the line got shorter, Sunoo felt more like throwing up then singing.

"Hello, I'm Hanbin! What's your name and who are you auditioning for?" before he knew it, Sunoo was standing in front of the club leader who had this big, friendly smile on his face.

Sunoo looked down at the floor "I...I'm Kim Sunoo and I'm auditioning for Soobin's parts."

"Alright then, let's hear you sing," LO$ER=LOVER started playing and whenever Soobin sung, Sunoo would join in as loud as he could (which wasn't very loud considering he hated this and wanted it to be over quickly).

Apparently the club leaders liked it as when he was done, they all started clapping and showing bright smiles to Sunoo. "Thank you for auditioning, please write your email here so we can tell you if you got Soobin or not."

Sunoo reluctantly wrote his email address before half-running half-walking out of the club room to meet Jungwon. "How did it go?"

"Horribly, I am this close to murdering you right now." Sunoo sent Jungwon yet another death stare.

"Aw Hyung I'm sure it wasn't that bad." Jungwon pouted and patted Sunoo's shoulder to show support.

As they walked away, they both didn't notice a pair of eyes following them as they turned the corner and disappeared. Their owner was forcefully turned around before being told off by his best friend.

"Sunghoon we're meant to be auditioning next," Jay whined "What chu lookin' at?"

"Oh um nothing much, just looking off into space"

Not thinking too much about it, Jay brushed it off "Anyway, who did you want to audition for?" Sunghoon scratched behind his neck "Hmm... maybe Yeonjun? I want to try rapping a bit."

Behind them came a giggle and then a whisper "I didn't know you could rap hyung."

"I didn't know you were there Nishimura" Jay turned around and greeted Niki.

"Well... I've also wanted to try rapping; I do it at home but never in public before." In return, Niki smiled shyly.

In between them, Sunghoon smiled and patted Niki's shoulder, "Well, good luck! I'm rooting for you too!"

"Me too!" Niki beamed at them, hoping they would be impressed later until Sunghoon had to be called to his audition.

After Sunoo had gotten home, he body slammed onto his bed and lay there for what felt like his lifespan until he finally got up. Despite being tired he was actually excited to see how well his fan fiction had done so far and, to his shock, it had already got 500k views and 100k likes. How did this happen within the span of a few days?

Sunoo started bouncing up and down on his bed in joy, his fan fics had never done this well before despite him being one of the most popular creators on Wottpad. 

He bit his lip as he scrolled through some of the comments and blushed whenever he saw someone compliment him. After a while, he cracked his knuckles and started to write some more. He noticed, as he wrote, the words glowed and his fingers tingled. This is normal ... right?

Well, the rival should be enemies with the popular guy and they fight over the main character but of course the popular guy wins! Hmm but is that too cliché? Maybe the popular guy asks the main character out but the rival is still trying to win over the main character? Yes, I like that idea.

Sunoo saved his work and stretched out his arms. Maybe I should become friends with Sunghoon? This would really help with my fan fiction as I could use him as my muse for the popular guy.

He shut his laptop gently and went downstairs for dinner.

The next morning Jungwon went round to Sunoo's house so they could walk together like normal. They then left and walked to the bus stop, with Jungwon chatting away about the latest releases in kpop, and nothing seemed to be off... yet.

Once they reached the bus stop, Sunoo got in the bus first, taking extra care to avoid running into a certain Sunghoon before reaching for his wallet to pay for his bus ticket.

"Two tickets please" a hand reached over Sunoo's shoulder and, to Sunoo's dismay, it belonged to none other than the Park Sunghoon.

He turned around and was about to tell Sunghoon that he didn't need to pay when he found himself face-to-face with him. Sunoo's face flushed a deep red and he stared at Sunghoon and his heart raced as he could feel Sunghoon's hot breath against his lips. Quickly, he turned back around and hoped that Sunghoon hadn't noticed him staring for that millisecond too long.

"Thanks" he mumbled as the bus driver gave them a weird look, took the cash and gave Sunghoon the change.

"Hey Sunoo, do you want to sit together again? Jake isn't here today and Jay said that he wants to site next to your friend over here." Sunghoon grinned down at him.

"Sure I guess" Sunoo glanced at Jungwon who in return gave him a smile of 'I'll be fine, enjoy your date' to which Sunoo then glared at him.

Without warning, Sunghoon grabbed Sunoo's arm and took him to a pair of seats somewhere in the middle of the bus, "Here should be fine right?"

Sunoo nodded in response and let Sunghoon take the window seat. "Hey Sunghoon, are you doing this because you want to be friends? Or is there anything you want to ask me?"

Sunghoon looked directly at him and Sunoo could've sworn he was blushing a bit "Oh um it's nothing much, Jay said some stuff and I think you seem nice so I want to be friends. Also don't tell Jay I told you this but I'm pretty certain that Jay likes your friend Jungwon."

"I know right!" Sunoo practically beamed at Sunghoon, "I've made it my mission to help them get together before the end of the year. If you know too, do you want to help? You're Jay's best friend of course so please." He showed his best pleading face and, yet again, was sure that there was a blush on Sunghoon's face.

"Sure! I'll be happy to help." They shook hands as they both smiled at each other. For one this meant the start of a friendship but for the other, the start of something else...

Hope you all have been well and I'm excited to say that this story is coming off hiatus and, after ages, will finally be updated at least once every two weeks. I can't believe Enhypen had two comebacks over the course of me writing this 😔
