"I still remember third of December."

I woke up in my dim lit room, my hair was a mess.

I quickly got out of bed, getting ready as I hear my mother yell my name for breakfast.
I got my clothes on and grabbed , I saw my brother as I walked out of my bedroom.

"Come on Will, It's time for school!" I hear him groan as I roll my eyes, I run downstairs. I sat down at the table to eat my cereal, I see my brother walk down the stairs, he looked gloomy.

He sat next to me and I scooted over for him. "What's wrong, Will?" I asked, he looked over, tired. "I'm not ready to go back to school, Mike.. he.."

I could tell my brother felt horrible after Mike called him a weird queer kid. "Mike he did what?" I fixed up my hair. "He called me a weird queer kid and then said he didn't mean i—" "Well I'm sure he really didn't, maybe he accidentally blurted it out in anger."

I cut his sentence off, He looked down and put his head on my shoulder. I smiled, "Everything will be alright, just try not to focus too much on it Will.." He gave me a smile as I did too.

I looked at the analog clock on the wall and widened my eyes. "Shit- You're late Will!" "Language!" He snapped, laughing as we ran out the door. I went into my car and he jumped into the front seat.

I started driving to Hawkins middle school, "We can go to the arcade if you'd like after school." He answered in a happy nod as I kept smiling. We arrived to school and I waved goodbye to him. "Ignore the kids, don't let anyone see you sad!" I yelled to him as i drove off.

I went to Hawkins Highschool, I saw my friend Nancy waiting there for me, along with her boyfriend Steve, Steve Harrington.
I parked my car and locked it after getting out, I met them all on Third of December.

[Flashback] It was 1985, 3rd of December, I was building a snowman with my brother, Will, and this girl came with Mike Wheeler, Her name was Nancy.

Her and I were playing with the kids and until school came, I met her tall boyfriend. "Hey, Jonathon! Meet my boyfriend Steve, Steve Harrington.
He works at Scoops Ahoy at the Mall we go to with your brother and his friends!"
"Nice to meet you Steve."

We all started walking down the halls to our locker. I smiled at Nancy, until I saw the five feet eleven, tall and strong male. I rolled my eyes, I despised him. He was rather overprotective. I started walking down to Homeroom with Nancy and, Steve.

I asked to go to the restroom, raising my hand to the teacher. "Mr Ash, Could I use the restroom?" He looked at me and shook his head. "No, you've used this excuse for too long." He was right, I didn't like English Language Arts Class (ELA).

I rested my chin on my desk as I looked at Nancy next to me, I nudged her and gave her a note. She let out a small chuckle, the note had said: "this sucks." She nodded, showing Steve, I looked down, feeling jealous.

The bell rang and I walked out.
