I woke up to see the most beautiful smile on my mother's face. Just her smile lightens my stress. She is always there when I feel low and want to give up. I hug her all of a sudden, letting her know that I love her without saying the words.

"Will you be joining us for the shopping?" I ask her. "I will actually be helping Olivia. You'll kiddos can enjoy." I nod and get up from my bed.

"Well how do like that boy, Adrian?" she asks when I return from washroom.

"What? You too" I turn to Elena's bed and hit her with a cushion so to wake her up.

"What the hell!" she exclaims by my sudden attack.

"What did you tell mom about Adrian?" My mom immediately stands on the middle, "She didn't tell me anything. I can see it."

"See what exactly?" What are the things that everyone can see and I can't

"Yeah, aunty tell this idiot. Or rather book an appointment to the eye doctor. Because she can't see things properly." Elena sounded annoyed. I shouldn't have hit her with the cushion.

"Well, he is a nice boy... I mean he is handsome and also has a good nature-" I cut my mom and rushed to have a bath. I cannot hear her praising other boy. I mean Adrian is good and all but I don't know. I finished my work and returned to the two ladies who were still discussing the same topic. #MYLOVELIFE.

Others are more interested in your love life rather than you, isn't it?

"Are you joining us for the shopping or you want to continue discussing whatever you are discussing." I ask my best friend.

She laughed and makes her way to the bathroom.

"You should give him a try. You won't have battles everyday, so the queen needs rest. And who better than her king to provide her with comfort." I roll my eyes at her and change the topic instantly, " Do you want me to get something for you?"

My mom was always like a friend to me and so I never realized that topics like your first crush and kiss and love life should be kept a secret from your mother.

I did understand what she said. I know I am not an emotionless human and I don't wanna die single. I'm just waiting for the right person, as people say!

"Hm, yeah get me pair of earrings that will go with my outfit for the reception." I nod a yes and wait for Elena to join. After few minutes when she was ready, we left to meet everyone. Melissa was waiting for us outside the car. Emily already took the driver's seat I assume.

"So are we ready for girl's day out." What was with this girl and excitement.

"Where are we going first?" Elena asks as I admire the view outside from the window.

"First we are going to check on my wedding dress. I need to see if it fits me properly. Then we shall go the jewelry shop. Then we can roam here and there and get things you'll need. Xavier said he will meet us at 2 in the café. " Emily sounded happy.

After about thirty minutes, we park in front of a bridal shop. We enter and a lady approaches us with a smile. She was in her 40's, I assume. "Welcome Emily, your wedding gown is ready, you can try it on."

"Sure." With that Emily walks off to the changing room while we are admiring other wedding dresses.

"After looking at these beauties, I wanna marry right now just to wear them."

"Elena or you can just have pre-wedding shoot without your husband." I turn to her. "Hell yes, can I ?" she really did take my idea seriously.

"If it's possible I would want to marry in my sweatpants and loose t-shirts." Both of them looked at me as if spoke an unknown language. "What it's not mentioned anywhere that you have to wear these long dresses and walk to the altar. The important thing is to be comfortable on that day so I might as well wear clothes, I'm comfortable in." they still had that expression even after i gave them a vivid explanation.

The lady who stood behind us started laughing. Did I say something funny? What, I remember even bible doesn't mention wearing long and expensive gowns as a compulsion.

"Looks like you're a different girl, because as far my knowledge is- wearing wedding gowns is a dream of most of the girls."

"My sister is of a different kind you see!" Melissa points at me and I roll my eyes. Okay if I'm different, I'm different. Where's the fun when you act the same like others.

"So how do I look?" Emily enter wearing her wedding gown which hugged her so perfectly. I guess idea of wedding gowns are not that bad.

"Wow Emily, you look amazing and elegant." Elena exclaims as if reading my thoughts. We all agreed with the perfection the dress was designed.

Emily changed into the clothes she wore while coming here. She placed the gown in the car as if placing a new born baby. We then visited many other shops in order to buy other things. While we were in some jewelry shop, I receive a call from Miller. I excuse myself from everybody and answered the call.

-Hello Lia, we did a research on the man you told us about. His name is Alex

-Oh yes, does he have any connection with the small boy.

-Yes. He was actually his dad. His wife left him when he started abusing her. That day, while the mother was paying for the candy, Alex came from behind and placed his hand on the boy's mouth so that he wouldn't scream. He pulled the boy with the other hand as fast as he can. We assume that he planned on taking the boy out from the second gate. But luckily, he was saved. This was recorded in the cctv camera of the hotel gate.

-Good. where is he now?

-I have reported him to the police station. Should we inform the mother about this?

-Hmm I guess we should inform her about it and ensure her that she and her child is safe now. Also have a background check on the family. If there's any possibility of any trouble on them make sure they are safe.

-Sure. There is lot of background noise. Where are you?

-I actually have come for shopping for the wedding. Don't worry I'm far away them and no one's having any doubt.

-I know you will take care of it. Anything else I should do?

-No. just that. Thank you.

-That's my job Lia.

I kept the phone in my pocket and sighed in relief. The kid and his mother are safe. I returned to my gang who were still arguing over a necklace.
