"We did stand. And yet, here we are." Tony says.

"I know you got a lot on the line. You got a wife, a daughter. But I lost someone very important to me. A lot of people did." Scott's voice gets louder as he tries to sell his desperation to Tony. "And now, now we have a chance to bring her back. To bring everyone back. And you're telling me that won't even."

"That's right, Scott, I won't even. I got a kid."

"And so have I, Tony. But I'm still willing, there's a chance to get everybody back. Everyone Tony, even 'kid'." I could tell that struck a nerve, it had to be said. Maybe it'll make him try. Morgan runs to Tony who picks her up and hugs her.

"Mommy told me to come and save you."

"Good job. I'm saved." He turns to us. "I wish you'd come here to ask me something else. Anything else. Honestly, I... I missed you guys, it was..." He stands up with Morgan in his arms.  "Oh, and table's set for seven."

"Tony, I get it. And I'm happy for you, I really am. But this is a second chance." Steve attempts again.

"I got my second chance right here, Cap. I can't roll the dice again. If you don't talk shop, you can stay for lunch." We head back to the car outside Tony's house.

"He's scared." Nat confirms.

"He's not wrong." Steve tells her.

"Yeah, but I mean, what are we gonna do? We need him. What, are we gonna stop?" Scott comments.

"No, I wanna do it right. We're gonna need a really big brain."

"Bigger than his?" I look back at Tony's house, this could be my one last chance to try and sort out our relationship. Even though it's usually been just me trying and not him, it doesn't mean that I don't want to stop trying to fix it. He is my brother after all, I could see Tony also looking out of a window at us. I'm guessing mainly at me because our eyes meet, and he smiles slightly.

"You want to stay for dinner with them, don't you?" Steve questions me in my ear.

"I don't know, a part of me wants too. To try and fix everything." I answer.

"Hey, it's okay if you do. I'll fill you in later when we meet up."

"Alright, be careful. That goes for all of you."

"Yes ma'am." He gently takes my face in his hands and places a lovingly kiss on my lips, once he pulls away, I look up at him. "I'll see you later and I'll check in on little Nat."

"Okay, I love you."

"I love you too." They get back in the car and drive away while I make my way back to the house, I walk in knowing Pepper would tell me off for knocking.

"Hi, urm is the offer still open for dinner?" I ask awkwardly as I see them all at the table, their faces light up especially Morgan's.

"Of course, come on in." Pepper grabs me a plate and places it next to Morgan's, I sit down.

"Hi Auntie Vi." She gives me a quick hug.

"Hey little monster." That was the nick name I gave her after she was born, since then she only allows me to call it her. Which is funny because when Tony tried to call it her, she really did act like a monster and chased him around telling him he can't call her that.

"So, how's little Natasha?" Pepper asks as we eat our dinner.

"She's great, although she keeps asking for her Uncle Tony and Morgan a lot. Says Tony showed her some cool tricks with a certain suit." I raise an eyebrow at him, he quickly puts some food in his mouth.
