Meruem released the small portion of his aura that is enough to scare those kids and ofcourse what could those puny kids do? Afterall they just a normal living child, as the children immediately fled out of the scene, including the poor boy that deku's trying to protect. Leaving deku, 'kacchan', and meruem a lot of room to talk.
Bakugo look at meruem with pure hostility, Meruem on the other hand ignore bakugo and went straight to deku.
He actually want to start at the boy with ash blond hair but he realized, That kid has a superiority complex.
Too much work he'll need to do if he want him to be at his side. Maybe near future meruem will reconsider it again but now?he'll try to focus to deku instead.
"Hey" Meruem stood infront of deku,while deku look at him with a frighten look.
"H-hey" Deku nervously replied back, Not only he's scared but also it was his first time talking to a girl.
"Do you want to hang out?" Deku..our poor boy face is now red as a tomato, He did not expect a girl will come by and ask him so casually!
"A-ah?!?!"
"I don't like repeating myself"
"A-ARE YOU S-SURE?"

"Oi! WHO ARE YOU TO INTERRUPT ME HUH!?" Bakugo never felt so annoyed in his whole life, Even as a kid he's a arrogant fella.
"Let's go" Meruem did not batt an eye to Bakugo tantrums, Nor he is interested to talk to him.
Maybe not now but near future, Meruem knows that; He and bakugo will be associated for some reason.
"DON'T IGNORE ME! AND DEKU DO YOU KNOW THIS GIRL!?"
"Eeeek" deku look at kaachan with wide eyes, he did not also expect some girl to stood up for him—not at all
"Stand up and follow me deku"
"D-deku?"
"Isn't that your name?"

Meruem grab deku out of the scene,leaving bakugo alone at the playground.

Meruem doesn't bother to talk back, he just continue to walk in silence–with deku following him like a lost puppy.
After walking in silence for almost 30 minutes, meruem finally stop.
