Steven meeting Rose Quartz || Steven Universe

Ch. 3

The gems were still adjusting to the things happening. Two same Rose Quartz gem. The past gems did see some resemblance of their leader to him which makes them think that he is really good and a son of their leader.

While Steven was with the Past gems. He uses his time to know the things they do, to know kore about his mom and maybe to learn more about his powers.

"So mom- I mean Rose, I want to know what powers you have. I still haven't known much about your powers that I inherited when you passed your gemstone to me." Steven shyly said at Rose.

Rose just laughed at him. "You can call me mom if you want to." Which makes Steven blushed a bit.

"What powers did you have, Steven?" Rose then asked. "Well, I sometimes able to summon your shield and the big pink bubble. I am also been able to open your room once, and been able to turn my fingers to cats which almost turns out something I didn't want to happened. I am still having problems to use your gem." Steven said.

"Besides from the powers you said, I have the to grow sentient plant life to act as my defenders. I am also have the ability to heal and float." Rose Quartz said having trust in Steven.

"So, how do I master at least summoning your shield?" Steven said. "Well, our powers are based on our emotions." Rose replied to Steven's question.

"Since you have only a little bit of time here, I might as well teach you." Rose happily said.

Rose and Steven have been together much when Rose was finished on their missions with the gems. Steven did wanted to learn about his powers but he didn't want to take his mom's mission in saving the Earth.

Day by day passed. Steven learns more about his powers and was about to use it. He felt content to the short moment to learn with his mom as he knows more about her. He wanted to stay with her but his dad and the present gems might be looking for him.

Steven saw the gems were getting ready to go on a mission. "Hey mom, since I am now about to use my powers, I want to try and help you guys. A quality time with you guys." Steven said excited.

"Of course." Rose agreed. Steven then ran excitedly to the warp pad.

They warped somewhere Steven wasn't familiar so he just follows the others.

The corrupted gem then showed up and the gems quickly summons their weapons and begins to charge the gem.

Rose pulled put her rebel sword to capture the corrupted gem. It was new to Steven.

He saw his mom quickly charge the gem while the others distracted it. The physical form of the corrupted gem was poofed and Rose then bubbled the gem and send it back to the base.

Steven was amazed. He was happy to see this at least once in his life.

They get back to the base. Steven said he was just going to have a walk on the beach. When Steven left, the gems makes their way inside the temple.
