Migraine

You stumble. Your head is pounding. Your vision gets fuzzy. Everything goes black. The last thing you hear is someone with a thick British accent, Newt yell, "Y/N!"

You wake up in the Med-jacks hut. Newt, Minho, Alby, Clint, and Jeff where sitting around my bed, all their faces full of worry. They were all deep in conversation, they were whispering yes, but they were all deep in conversation. To break the silence I whispered hoarsely, "Hey..." All of their heads snapped in my direction. Newt a eyes filled with relief.
"Wha-what happened?" You said rubbing your head and attempting to sit up.
"You blacked out y/n...." Newt said concerned
"Oh....... Do you know why?" You asked.
"No.... Not a clue sadly..." Clint said.
"If you tell us some symptoms you had before you passed out that may help us," Jeff stated.
"W-well my head was pounding, my vision became fuzzy and than that was it, that's all I remember... Oh wait! Before I was completely gone I-I heard Newt yell my name..." You said starting to blush.
"It sounds like you had a really bad headache-" Jeff started to say but was cut off by Minho saying, "Woah woah woah, I think that we should first ask her how she is feeling now! Don't ya think you slintheads."
"Yea, how are you feeling right now y/n?" Newt said concerned.
"Well... My head feels like it's going to explode." You stated "Thats really it..."
"It kinda sounds like a bad headache." Clint said.
"Yea it basically is but there's a word for it.... its called a migraine." You said.
"A migraine?" Alby asked.
"Yea.....I don't know....I just remembered that that's the word for it..." you said a bit confused.
"Well it was nice talking to you all but I have a job to do." You stated. You started getting up. You swung your legs over the end of the bed and was about to stand when someone grabbed your wrist. You turned around and it was Newt.
"Oh no you bloody don't," Newt said.
"B-but I have a job to do, I can work off this migraine! I need to go help Gally! He can't build everything on his own! I. Need. To. Help. Him! I'll feel guilty and I won't be able to bear with myself! All the builders they need my help! I am not going to sit here!" You stated matter of factly.
Newt just started laughing. "You really think I'm going to let you bloody do that?! Never! I am going to take you to my room and that's final." Newt stated with a look in his eyes that said if you disagree than you are going to the shucking hole.
"Woah New-" Jeff started to say, but he was cut off when Newt just glared at him.
You were shocked.
Newt picked you up bridal style and started walking to the homestead.
"Newt... Wh-why are you taking me to your room?" You asked
"Because y/n I want to make sure that you are okay and that you get better and that you don't try to leave and go help Gally." he said smirking.
You blushed trying to hide it but you fail and blush even more. "Why f-for me? I'm this little grain of sand and your this big second-in-command and yet you've been so nice and gentle and sweet, but why towards me?"
"Because y/n I-I um.... I kinda erm..... I am shucking in love with you!"
You now realize that he stopped walking. You blush red as a tomato. You look down. He sets you down on the ground and sits down. He takes his pointer finger and lifts your chin to make you look at him.
"I love you too. Ever since my eyes first laid on you I have loved you." you say shyly.
Newt smiles and leans in, you lean in too. This is it. The magical kiss you have been waiting for. Your lips move in sync. He breaks away and smiles widely at you. You snuggle into his chest and you guys just sit there, cuddling. You forget about your migraine, about all the troubles in the world. All you think about is you and Newt. you eventually fall asleep.
Newt takes you to his bed and lays you down, he lays down next to you. He snuggles your back into his chest and he falls asleep.
