"Sadie."

"Kids name I don't know." I responded annoyed with my situation.

"What you doing in this part of town?" He face came into view as he walked under the street light, two other males followed.

"Whatever I want, dad." My venom came out.

"Hey," he held his hands up before smirking. "Sadie is a badass."

I felt the heat rise on my face as I looked down. I felt Sarah nudge me and I looked over at her. She smirked at me.

"We actually don't have a place to stay and don't have a ride for another hour." Sarah said. I mentally scold her.

"Oh shit," he turned and looked at the one boy. After they talked for a minute, the strange boy turned towards us and smiled.

"You guys can come chill with us," he turned on his heel and walked into the direction they came from.

The two boys followed him. I looked at Sarah and glared. She smirked at me before grabbing my arm and pulling me towards them.

"Oh and Sadie?" He called out.

"What?" I said annoyed.

"I can give you guys a ride home."

"Great." I mumbled as we walked through the dark alley.

Eventually after walking we stopped at some stairs. The boys climbed it, Sarah followed.

"Okay so we're really doing this." I mumbled as I grabbed onto the ladder and started climbing the stairs.

Once we reached the top, the brown haired boy put his finger up to his lips and turn towards us. He then turned around and opened the window as gentle as possible.

Once it was open, he stood up and mentioned for us all to go in first. Sarah climbed in, then the one boy with colored hair, the blonde hair boy that I have yet to learn his name, then myself, and lastly the brown haired boy.

Once we all made it inside, I realized it was a boy's room we climbed in. I looked around and found a chair. I slowly walked over to it and sat down.

I then turned towards the rest of the group and saw them doing the same. The brown haired and colored haired boys sat down on the group right in front of the tv. The blonde boy sat on the bed, and Sarah sat down on the floor right in front of me.

"So Sadie," the blonde boy sat up and smirked at me. "What were you two doing in this part of town?" He questioned,

"It doesn't-" I began.

"We were hanging out with these girls, uhh.." Sarah cut me off.

"Oh, Bonnie, Rochelle, and Nancy." When she finished, the blonde boy stared at me in shock.

"What? Is something on my face?" I asked as a joke.

"You shouldn't hangout with them." He said.

"What are you? Our dad?" I asked.

"No I'm being serious Sadie, those girls aren't the type to be fucked with."

"Why?" I asked looking annoyed.

"Nancy's is his sister, he knows all about what her and her friends are about." The brown haired boy said turning towards us.

"You sister is Nancy?" I said looking back at the blue eyed boy.

"Sadly, Nancy downs... Rayden downs." He said. I looked at him. Rayden? That's a weird name.

"Your name is Rayden?" I asked.

"Oh shit, where are my manners?" He began.

"This is Michael." Colored haired boy.

"This is Harry." Brown haired boy.

"And I'm Rayden." He smirked.

"Sadie."

"Sarah." My sister and I introduced ourselves by simply stating our names.

The boys nodded at us before going back to what they were doing. I noticed the blue eyed- Rayden I mean pick up a guitar that was in the corner.

I watched Sarah stand up and walk over to the other two boys. She sat down and they started talking. I looked back over at Rayden and smiled softly.

I got up and walked over to him. I sat down on the bed with him and he looked over.

"Badass, you know how to play?" He asked. I chuckled at the nickname before motioning with my hands for him to hand it to me.

I positioned the guitar and looked down at my hands. I looked back up at Rayden and slowly started strumming the strings until I found a small beat I liked.

It was a slower beat than I would usually use. After a few minutes of strumming the strings, I stopped.

I looked up at Rayden and realized he had an amused look on his face.

"That was amazing." He said barely above a whisper.

"Thank you." I whispered back. He grabbed the guitar out my hand.

"You know Sadie," he looked at me. "I think we're gonna be good friends." He smiled. Friends. Real friends.

I smiled at me. He then looked up and his smile was replaced with a frown. I gave him a confused look. He pointed to the small clock on the nightstand.

We had a few minutes to get back to the place where dad said he'd pick us up at.

"Sarah, we have to go." Sarah frowned before saying her goodbyes and getting up.

"Let me walk you?" Rayden said, although it sounded more of a question. I smiled at him and nodded.

Sarah climbed back out the window, as Rayden and myself followed.

Once the window was closed, the three of us climbed down the stairs and started towards the road the boys found us on.

We walked through the alley and back across the street. A car was parked right in front of the pay phone. The car belonged to my dad.

I watched Sarah quickly jump into the backseat. I turned around and looked at Rayden.

"So.. uh goodbye." I said awkwardly.

"Nah, badass, it's see you later." He smiled before pulling me into a hug. I was taken back at first but slowly wrapped my hands around him.

He smelled like cologne and weed mixed. There was a slight alcohol smell but it wasn't as strong.

I pulled away and looked at him. He smiled at me and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"See you later, Rayden." I smiled as I turned around and started walking towards my dad's car. I opened the passenger door and was about to get inside.

"See you later, Badass." Rayden called out to me. I smiled before getting into the car.

"So," my dad smirked and looked over at me.

"No. Nope. Not having this conversation." I said as I felt my face heat up.

"Oh Sadie has a crush." Sarah smirked as her and my dad laughed.

"You guys bully me." I said as I looked out the window. I felt myself get lost in the city as my dad drove home.
