I raced out of class as soon as it was over. When I got outside, Damien was waiting by the passenger door of his car. The butterflies made their appearance again as I made eye contact with him. A grin spread across his face. "Hey beautiful." He said, as he pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but blush. When I pulled out of the hug, he cupped my face in his hands and pressed his lips to mine. I felt like I would never get tired of this. After a minute, he pulled away and opened the door for me. Such a gentleman.

"Thank you, kind sir." I replied. He answered back with a chuckle and a 'you're welcome m'lady.'

"How was your day?" He asked as we drove back to the apartments.

I sighed. "It was fine. I only had two classes, but it felt like they droned on forever."

Damien snickered. "Was someone excited to spend the rest of the day with a certain guy?" I blushed at the comment. It's like he had read my mind.

I shrugged. "Maybe. Or maybe it's because I'm still recovering from this past weekend, and just wanted to relax?" I smiled and looked over at him. Honestly, that weekend was one of the best I have had in a while...I mean...besides the hangover part. But he made it worth it.

Just then we pulled up to the apartment complex. Damien got out and came to my side to open the door for me. Seriously though, I thought chivalry was dead. Boy is surprising me every day. I took his hand and gave him a peck on the lips as a thank you. Before I got a chance to pull away, he pulled me in to a deeper kiss. My head was spinning and I lost all sense of time and space. He pushed me up against the car and it was like Saturday night all over again. Kissing me up and down my neck, back to my lips, not relenting. After what seemed like a very long time, he stepped away. Grabbing my hand, he led me in the direction of his apartment. I stopped dead in my tracks. He looked at me confused.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yes," I nodded, "I just want to go put my stuff up really quick at my place."

"Gotcha, want me to come with you?"

"No, I'll just meet you at your place." I said with a smile. He returned with a head nod and smile back.

"Hurry back, I'll be waiting." He replied. I nodded and told him I would, then headed to my part of the complex.

"Marilyn! I'm home!" I called as I got back to the apartment. No answer. I guess she is at class, I thought to myself. I pulled out my phone and sent a quick text to her:

Hey, I'll be over at Damien's, be home later.

A minute later all she replied with was the winky emoji. I shook my head and went to my room to put my stuff down. All of a sudden, my phone started vibrating. Crap. It was my mom calling. She had no idea about Damien, but there was no way she was going to find out about him now.

"Hi mom." I answered.

"Hey Bells, just checking in to see how you're doing. Haven't heard from you in a couple days. Glad to know you're still alive." I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, I am. But I can't really talk right now. I have somewhere to be. I will call you later." I hope she didn't hear the secrecy in my voice.

"Oh, sorry to bug you. Yes, that's fine sweetie. You have fun doing what you're doing. Just remember, make good choices." I face palmed. My mom is so cheesy sometimes.

"Yes mom." I replied. After we said our goodbyes and hung up, I raced back out of the apartment and headed over to Damien's. My mom's words "Make good choices" echoed in my head the whole way over there. Of course, I was going to. I mean we just kiss. Not like I'm planning to do anything else. Man was I wrong...
