It was terribly quiet in the house. Tubbo had left to run errands and Tommy stayed to watch after Michael, who was asleep at the moment. It was pretty late and Tommy should've slept too, but he didn't allow himself to until Tubbo got home.
In the silence of the empty house, Tommy's thoughts raced, getting louder each time they looped, but he sat where he was, silently staring off into space with his usual empty expression. No matter how angry or scared or confused he was, he stayed the same. He wanted to scream to get his thoughts to shut up, to quiet down. Maybe if he was louder than them, they would quiet. That's what he did before...
He shivered slightly. The thought of what had happened only about a year ago had seemed to shut his mind up.
Everything went dead quiet for a moment and he took a deep breath to enjoy the silence. But soon he realized how late it was becoming. Tubbo? Where was Tubbo?
His thoughts sparked up again, setting the silence aflame as he stood up to go to the door and look outside. As he was just about to turn the knob, it turned on it's own. The door opened and Tommy stepped back, Tubbo stepped in and looked up to Tommy, smiling. "Hey Big Man, sorry about that, I lost track of time, then it started snowing, and-" He was cut off as Tommy just hugged him. He sighed and hugged back, "I missed you too." He said softly.
