Peaceful Determination

Chapter 1

"Wilson sweetie!" I heard my mom call. Riot seemed to stop sleeping with me while Proton and Electron took his place. It got quite lonely, but I know why he does this. He's grown really close to Acro and he seems to have a really fiery passion. He's a battle kind and not a dancing kind. So when my parents woke me up, well, I'll let the chapter tell you.

"What is it mom?" I said, walking downstairs. Proton and Electron were on my shoulders while Booms was still asleep on my arm. They showed me a picture of a flyer in the Kalos region for the Pokémon Showcase. It's been my dream to take part in that. I was really excited as they were telling me I could join but then I thought. Riot and Acro might not like doing the showcase. "Can I maybe sign up for something else?" They looked at each other in confusion. "What else could you want to join?" My dad asked. "Well I heard about the Pokémon Trainer Challenge and thought it wouldn't hurt to try battling." Riot and Acro just looked at me. "W-Well of course dear!" My mom started swiping on her phone and showed me a stadium. I shook my head. "How about I just do gyms in Kalos? We might get to watch some of the showcase performances!" I smiled.

I didn't expect them to agree to that, even if they couldn't go. I recalled all of my Pokémon but Booms as I went to pack. My flight left in 3 hours and I was a 10 minute drive to the airport.

I was packed and at the airport in no time. As well as that, I was on the plane and in the air. I watched out the window with Proton and Electron as we were off to Kalos.

We make it after a really long flight and we immediately went to my big brothers house. He was the champion in Kalos. Once I arrived, he let me inside and told me he had a really late birthday present for me. "I heard from mama and papa you inherited Riot and evolved him," Alex told me. I nodded, letting out the rest of my Pokémon. His Victini gave me a box and came to play with my Pokémon. Alex was incredibly strong, so it was no doubt he would catch a kind of legendary. If that one kid caught Suicune, there was no way Alex didn't catch something too. I opened the box as Riot, Acro and Sneak gathered around. Inside was a bow with a key stone on it. I took it out and and Alex came over to me. He knelt down in front of me and gave me another bow that matched mine. "On it holds Lucarionite, now you just have to master mega evolution." I looked at Alex and brightly smiled. "You hear that Riot, you can mega evolve now!" I was really excited. I put Riot's bow on his neck with color-matching ribbon as I put mine under my ear.

I was taken to a large arena that Alex rented out for us to use as we went to train using mega evolution. "Use Riot while I use Blastoise," He told me. I nodded and went to my side while Alex went to his. Proton and Electron used their sparks to cheer Riot on while Victini powered up Blastoise.

A few hits went in as both Pokémon were hardly touched. "You have nerve Will," Alex said as he touched a stone on his belt and a stone on Blastoise's bracelet reacted to it. He was covered by a rainbow light, like he was evolving, and a Mega Blastoise appeared when it dissipated. I looked at it in awe before smiling. "Let try that too Riot!" I said loudly, touching the stone on my bow. Though Riot's Stone reacted to it, he didn't mega evolve. Blastoise was recalled as I pat Riot's back. "No worries Riot, we just need some training. After all, we are here to beat Alex so let's not get too worked up over that." "Cario," he said with a nod. "Back to my place, shall we?" I smiled as Acro came over and walked close beside Riot.

"Lunch is served!" Alex said, bringing over two plates of what looked like curry as his Pokémon served the Pokémon food. "I know all of the gym leaders, so don't be afraid to tell them you're my younger brother when you meet them. It'll make them try harder to test how the greatest trainer in Kalos' brother can battle." I just looked worried. "I won't be doing that!" I said. "It's a pain enough that I have to battle!" Alex looked confused. "I prefer dancing and performing rather than fighting, but it seems it wasn't Riot or Acro's cup of tea so I'm trying battling for them." We looked over at the two who seemed to be sharing a plate of food. "Those two are inseparable. They even dance together, and it's confusing why they like battling when they always dance together." Alex just smiled. "Double battling will be a perfect match for them then."

We finished lunch as we went out to town. "It's so much more different here than Galar!" I said. Suppose I got into the groove, cause I started dancing along with Proton and Electron cheering me on. "You're really good at that Will!" Alex said. I was laughing along as Sneak danced in sync with me. As we finished, people applauded me and Sneak. We bowed as people continued their day, all but one. "Oh please tell me you're doing the Pokémon Showcase!" She asked me. I looked at Riot and Acro. "I'm not, I just have a love for dancing, as well as Sneak!" She looked rather upset. "Awh! I see every showcase and I was hoping you'd be in it! You and your Pokémon are great dancers!" She seemed to really be hyping me up. "Thanks for the chat, but I've gotta go! See you around!" She left with her Spritzee and I was left considering. "Let's stick to our battling! Maybe we could try Dance Battling!" My Pokémon seemed to like the idea. It helps us to do what I love, as well as what my Pokémon love.

"Light as can be on those feet of yours," Alex laughed. "Always showing off your incredible talent, maybe you could catch some attention of a special Pokémon who can dance just as light in the air as you can on land." "Tini!" Victini said. It was sat on Sneak's hand as it admired him. We were sat in a pokecenter and people were really looking out for Alex. Word spread that he was in the area, so people were on the lookout. I watched as Acro and Riot danced in their formal way in awe.

They ended with their dip as people applauded. After the experience, we went home and I found a field behind Alex's house to dance with Sneak. We stood on a flat rock and danced while Booms gave us a beat and Proton and Electron cheered us on. Little did we know, we were being watched by a certain Pokémon.

"TINI VI" Victini called us. Guess it's dinner time. We all went inside and ate a really quick meal before going back to the field. This time, Alex and his Pokémon came along to watch. Over time, more and more Pokémon watched as well. When we finished, we looked at all the cheering Pokémon. Above our heads were two wondrous Pokémon. Two Celebi, one being a pink color. Victini joined them. "Let's head home you lot," Alex said, standing up and collecting his Pokémon. I gathered my Pokémon as we headed inside, the other Pokémon leaving to their nights. "You head to bed, I'm going as well. I set up your window bed, just how you like to sleep." I hugged Alex goodnight as I went to change. I changed quickly and went over to my new bed and laid down with Proton, Electron and Booms. They liked their new bed, I couldn't help but wonder about those Celebi. Though I had a lot on my mind, I was able to peacefully fall asleep with my Pokémon. That night completed my first day in Kalos.

Acro was sat really close to Riot. They were extremely close now that they evolved. Not to mention, they evolved in one another's arms. Acro laid the back of his head on Riot's chest. Riot put his paw on Acro's stomach as they laid there. Both Pokémon talked about how they've been and a few wishes like most nights. That was until Acro yawned and both Pokémon decided to fall asleep.
