A few months after the Epilogue
The group would gather up at Ken's place. Despite a few month difference, some of the group had changed in appearance. Bee had her hair up in a ponytail, Ken took his braids down and had a short afro while Levi grew an inch...due to his platform shoes, so he's still 5'2". The others arrived soon after except for Shya as she didn't want to work with Micheal and Bee, and Elytra as they stayed at Ken's place for a bit. The others that came by didn't have much changes to them. They were outside in the backyard as Mako walked out and sighed.
"I think today is the day." Mako says, smiling softly. Ken looking up at him and chuckles softly but Kazo tilted his head
"What do you mean? You mean the day we go out and get him?"
"Unfortunately, We're not ready for that...yet. We still need a plan on how to get him and where he could be...We can't track Sapphire the same way we did with Bee since we don't have her phone..." Kazo groans in irritation and shakes his head
"God damn it...I hate the fact that we just can't go and get him! Who knows what's happening to him!? We have to know SOMETHING!" Kazo exclaims as Bee decides to speak up.
"We just have to wait...Maybe we'll figure something out? Like, we know Spark is pretty strong and such so may-" She was suddenly cut off by Levi, who was trying to keep quiet but couldn't anymore.
"When it comes to her, He's weak."
"What?" Bee questions him, tilting her head
"Spark's guard was at its lowest when he was with Sapphire. Which means-"
"When he was taken away, He saw Sapphire and was basically hit in the heart. He saw the girl he loved the most betray him and couldn't do anything" Ken chimed in as Levi nodded.
"Yeah- what he said." Levi says. Elytra was sitting in the corner of the patio just listening to their conversation, sipping some tea. Lexi got up and sighs, rubbing her neck
"How about we start off with training? Isn't that what Mako wanted to say that today was? The last day we would need to train?" Lexi suggests as Mako shrugs, nodding a bit
"Yes, I was going to say that but after thinking about it, I've personally seen growth out of all of you, especially Elytra with her void powers" Mako says as he point back at Elytra, who got up and walked over to the group
"Yep! I've managed to grab things through the portals and store things there! See, look!" They form a portal next to them and stick their hand in it, trying to grab something before grabbing hold of something, freezing up, and trying to examine the object.
"Okay I feel something- wet...and long...and hard- Okay I swear to god if this is something else I'm going to kill one of you." They said as they pulled out a cucumber, which surprised the group. They all stared at Elytra who shrugged and threw it back in the portal. Kazo started laughing at looked at Bee
"So, I assume you know about that?" He questions her as her entire face turned red
"I-i don't know n-nothing about it!" Ken chuckled as he chimed in.
"I was washing the cucumber because I was going to make some salad. Get your minds out of the gutter." Ken says as Micheal was sitting in the back as he was thinking about something before realizing.
"Hey Elytra, why can't you just use your portals to look for Spark?" He questions them as They looked to the side and sighs
"I knew someone would ask that. If I know where something is, I can get it from that location. Like- apparently I knew where the cucumber was. I can't just be like- "Show me Spark!" and it'll show me where he is!" They said as they pulled up a portal and looked at it before choking a bit
"HOLY SHIT I FOUND HIM!" Elytra exclaimed as the group quickly looked over at them
"No fucking way-" Kazo says as him and the group went up to the portal to see what Elytra was seeing. What they saw was Spark with bits of his clothes burnt off from the electrocution. He was still hooked up by the wires as he didn't seem to be taking breaks at all at this point.
"Spark! Where are you? Are you okay?!" Kazo exclaimed as he tried to speak to Spark through the portal
"What are they doing to you buddy? Are you still ali-" Ken asked as he was suddenly cut off by the loud yelling that came out of Spark. The group watched as Spark was getting electrocuted and saw the EMP go off. His head was held down as they saw him.
"Spark! Come on, Say something! Can't you hear us?!" Levi says as he yells out to the portal. Elytra shakes their head and sighs.
"I guess the portal is only one way...even then, I don't think he would know where he was anyway..." Elytra says as they close the portal. Mako clenched his fists and punched the wall out of anger.
"DAMN IT! I knew I should've helped him before! I don't care if I get hurt, I shouldn't leave a friend behind!" Mako shouts in anger as Bee walks up beside him and hugs his arm to calm him down.
"Mako it's okay...We'll get him soon...I hope..." Bee questions as she looked over at Levi, who was biting his nails as his fingers were turning red. Levi noticed Bee looking over at him and he stared at her for a bit before moving his hands away.
"Levi...Were you biting your nails again?"
"Noooo..."
"I clearly saw you."
"....Okay maybe I was...but that's because of my anxiety! You know this!" Bee shrugged as she shook her head.
"Okay whatever...did your new boyfriend ever tell you to stop?"
"He does yes...but he's not here to help me obviously"
"And if he was here now?"
"...He would tell me to stop..."
"That's what I thought." Bee said as Levi rolled his eyes and walked away. Lexi looked over at her, scratching her head softly. She looked down at her and chuckled softly
"Y'know that was kinda the same stuff Spark would tell him whenever the group hung out. Seems like you're trying to fit his place while he's gone." Bee scoffs at her statement and laughs it off.
"What? I'm not trying to do anything! I'm just making sure Levi doesn't accidentally hurt himself."
"That's what Spark always says when I ask him about it. Come on Bee, tell me what's up" Lexi says as she places her hand on her shoulder. Bee sighs and looks down at her hands as she had a nervous look on her face
"I just...I feel like I really fucked things up with Spark, friendship wise I mean of course."
"Ah...Well, Wasn't he the one who fought you back then? I wouldn't necessarily blame him for being on edge around you, you DID try to kill him in the name o-"
"Y-yeah yeah I know! It's just- I feel like if I get on the good side of his closest friends again, maybe he'll see that I changed and he could give me another chance? He did say he cherished our friendship to continue with killing me..."
"It all depends on him. Maybe he said that to get it out the way?
"M-maybe...I just have to wait..."
Meanwhile...
Over at the building Spark was being held captive in, there was a figure standing on a nearby hill. It was snowing at the location that any normal person would have trouble seeing in, but the figure had a cybernetic mask covering its entire face. The figure was watching over the building with its arms crossed. It was wearing a leather jacket with some sweat pants with straps dangling off the sides.
The figure looked down at its hands as it was wearing finger-less gloves. It clenched its fists as it crushed the snow in its hands. It shook off its hands before pressing on the side of the mask it was wearing.
"Just as I thought...They got him trapped up there. I have to take them down before things get worse...It doesn't matter, I'll get some help." The figure says as if it had a disfigured masculine voice. It looked down at its phone as it showed him a picture of Spark and his friends.
