The Punisment for Stealing

Chapter 12:

Skyrius awakens on the Master Bed. She looks to her left to see Sorean, sitting next to her. "Your... YOUR MAJESTY!?" Skye gasps. She jolts up and gets off the bed. "Calm down Skyrius. Now SIT." Sorean says, calmy as she pats the bed. Skye gulps as she does. Suddenly, Skye hears Rouger's foot steps. H-His Highness is coming!! I must get out of here! Skye thought as she grabbed onto her dress tightly.

"Ah, do not worry Skyrius, Rouger shall not enter for I have told him not to." Sorean says as she touches Skye's left shoulder. Skye goes red as Sorean pulls her closer. W-WHY IS SHE BEING SO NICE TO MEEE?!?! Is... This just a joke? Skye looks at Sorean's fake smile. It... It is... She's- "Skyrius, I shall get to the point..." Sorean says as she stands up. "I do not like you... But I do not hate you either..." Sorean walked to the door.

"But can you please... Stay Away From Me?" Sorean says as she exited the room. Skye suddenly feels tingly. She goes even more red. She... Smiles. Wh-what am I f-feeling? Skye suddenly stands up emotionless. "I should get back to work." Skye says exiting the room as well. Skye walks down stairs, being watched by Claw. He grunted and walks upstairs. He enters a room and kneels down to Sorean. "She has left the room, Sweetie-, I mean, Your Majesty." Claw says, looking up Sorean. "You are dismissed." Sorean responds, as she continues signing papers.

Skye walks out of the castle to the Market. It was almost dinner time at the castle and she was given the task of gathering food. Skye walked through the less busy market. She bought fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. She came back to find Everest, standing outside the castle. Skye decided to greet her. "Hello Sir Everest. How are you?" Skye asked. Everest looked down to her. "I am doing well, M'Lady Skye. May I ask how are you?" Everest replied. "I am doing fine, thank you." Skye answered.

"Have you gathered the food? Their Highnesses could be waiting." Everest reminded Skye. Skye nodded and entered the castle. Skye enters the kitchen and sees Claw. She passes him, looking down at her feet. Claw watches her pass by. He makes an unsure face at her. He follows her. Skye notices. W-why is he following me? Skye gulped. She walked faster in hopes to lose him, but he caught up. She turned around, with a brave face and asked him, "Why... Why are you following me?"

Claw gave a straight face. "M'Lady Skyrius, I am needed at His Majesty's quarters, this is the way to the tower. Do not stall me." Claw says. Skye squeaks and runs away. Claw growled. Why did Sweetie make me follow her? Why not Everest? Maybe I shall request for Everest to do this instead of me. She is much "friendlier" to her than me. Claw thinks as he goes the other way. Skye makes it to the kitchen. She starts cooking. "I don't know what royals eat, so I'll just make something my family eats. Hmm..." Skye stops as a butler calls for her.

"Skyrius Queens, you are requested at the Throne Room by her Majesty, Sorean Terrencia." The butler announced. Skye rushes to the Throne Room. She could see Sorean all angry. She was shaking. "Skyrius Queens... Skyrius Queens... What am I going to do to you?" Sorean says with seduction and  hate in her tone. Skye could tell Sorean was mad, but for what? What did Skyrius do to make her mad? "You left the castle without telling anyone? Rouger was sad you weren't there and now I'm in a foul mood!" Sorean shouted at her. Skye was confused. Wait, how is it my fault? They left the gates open! Skye then focuses back on Sorean.

"I... Apologize Your Majesty." Skye says. Sorean tells Skye that she's dismissed. Skye walks away and goes to her room. She closes the door and sighs. Why is life confusing? Her Majesty being mean, then nice, then mean, then nice, and mean again! Skye then hears voices. "It appears that the Prince of Adventure Bay has given us an invitation for him to visit the castle." It was Claw. He was talking to Rouger. "Is that so? Well then, prepare the guards. I have heard rumours about Zuma's new advisory. An enemy from Gordonalo." Chase replies.

"Of course sire. But shall I also prepare Sir Rocky or Sir Everest to watch over His Highness?" Claw asked, as he walked with Rouger past Skye's room. "Send Rocky to guard Zuma. As for Everest, she has no other duty left than watch over Sorean." Chase says final as Claw stops walking. Chase walks away. "Ugh, and I get stuck in watching over Skyrius." Claw groaned as he walks the other way. Skye sits on her bed. Tomorrow was going to be a hard day.
