It was a dusk evening, but the bright candlelights lit up the small forest. The warm breeze made the tall trees dance. As the wind touched my white skin, I smelt something familiar. A pleasant fragrance. I turned around. There he was standing right in front of me. Leo. His glamorous brown skin glowed. His beautiful light caramel brown eyes sparkled brightly in the moonlight. In his hands held red roses as he stared straight into my lovesick heart, walking closer to me till we were just inches away from each other. My long wavy brown hair was out, some were on my face. His gentle hands pushed my hair out of my face, to behind my ears as he placed his hand on my chin pulling my face close to his. My heart was beating like an African drum, my thoughts doing a 360 in my head. This was love.
I groaned in annoyance at the repetitive beeping of my alarm. That same sound was the end of a great romantic heart-stopping dream. I turned to face the clock, my eyes grew wide at the sight. '8:30' the time read. 'Crap!' I thought to myself. 'I'm late!'Oh but I wasn't late for school or morning classes, I was late for my early 'Leo watching.' If you aren't aware of who Leo is, let me break it down for you. Leo was one of the most handsome, smartest, and the kindest man you can ever meet. He was poised and refined and he was the love of my life. Except...he didn't quite know who I was. He had only talked to me once, at lunch when he asked me to hand him a ketchup packet. His hands looked so gently that day, I could only imagine how they felt.
I hopped out of my bed in a hurry, dashing out of my room and straight into the bathroom to freshen myself up and get ready for the day. Once I was finished I grabbed the best outfit I could find. I decided to go for a casual look, a pink hat with black stockings and skirt, topped off with a white off-shoulder sweater and black shoes. I smiled at myself in the mirror satisfied with how it looked. With that, I walked downstairs with a bright smile on my face. "Morning, dear." My mom said, giving her usual warm bright smile. "Morning!" I said, returning the same smile. "You seem to be in a good mood. What's up?" She said shooting me a suspicious look. "Oh, nothing. Just excited for school." I said as I began munching down on my waffles. "Rigghhhttt" she cooed. "Well don't go doing something crazy while you're having fun." She warned. "I won't mum! Thanks for breakfast!" I said, basically jumping off my chair and heading towards the door. I skipped every step I took, my eyes filled with delight. Nothing could ruin this. Not even the smallest slip-up.
