Chapter 1

I was getting ready for the day as I brushed my H/L (Hair Length) H/C (Hair Color). I was getting ready for my job at Starwood Elementary. I work the casual outfit any teacher would wear: a simple tan cardigan, a white blouse with pictures of plants along it, black leggings and some white slip on flats. Once I was ready for the day and after 20 minutes of putting on my makeup I grabbed my car Keys and headed out towards the school. The drive from my house to school was overall around 15 minutes. Once I arrived I had a few moments to greet teachers passing by as I finally made it to my classroom. Once I entered I turned on the light seeing how empty it truly was when students hadn't arrived yet. I got out the lesson plans for the day and began to get things organized and ready. I heard a knock at my classroom door "come in!" I called out to whoever it might be. I glanced over to see it was my sister Y/S (your sister) it was no surprise the both of you managed to get hired at the same school and that your classrooms was right across from each others. I gazed up at Y/S once more "yes?" You question once more "just checking in seeing how you're doing, I sensed last nights blind date didn't go well again?" She asked although she was right, I could never hide anything from her "you guessed it, this one was sweet but.... He seemed a bit possessive and we just met" I sighed flopping my head down on my desk "at this point I'm going to assume I'll die old" I gave a joking smile but at this point I was starting to believe it. Here I was in my mid 30's and I was still going on blind dates while a few of my friends I knew already got married, had a family and settled down. "Come on don't say that, listen it's only April, when spring break hits we'll head out and go on a vacation just the two of us" Y/S gave a soft reassuring smile. I sat up seeing as it was almost time for class to start "Alright, Alright, I suppose I could look forward to a little vacation... have any where in mind?" I asked curiously. Y/S just grinned "now that is a surprise but I think you'll like it" she said as she soon walked out while kids began to pile in the room. I glanced at the time and greeted them seeing as it was time for me to start teaching my lesson.
