"Tae! Tae wait up!"
The aforementioned shut his eyes tightly.
He hoped Jimin didn't see him today.
"Kim Taehyung! Wait for me!"
He tried to speed walk.
It wasn't of any use.
The next thing he knew was being turnt around.
"What's wrong? Why are you avoiding me? Did I do something wrong?"
Jimin tried to get a look of his eyes but the younger didn't dare to look at his face.
"Tae?" He called out again. He still tried to get the younger to look him in the eyes.

What made everything more suspicious was the fact that Taehyung had his hood up.
His head was hung low and he didn't make eye contact with anyone.
He clutched his bag strap.
He just hoped that Jimin would understand and leave him alone.
He didn't want to have to explain anything right now.

"Tae? Why won't you look me in the eyes." Jimin sighed.
He was concerned.
He lifted Taehyung's chin.
His lips curled downwards when he saw the red puffiness of his eyes.
"D-did you...did you cry?"
Taehyung's eyes almost welled up.
He hated how emotional he was at times.
Jimin took notice.
"Oh Tae..." He pulled him in for a hug.
The younger immediately wrapped his arms around his torso and rested the top of his head on the older's shoulder.
"It's okay. You don't have to tell me anything." He fluffed his fingers through Taehyung's hair.

He didn't care if they were in the hallway.
He didn't care if other students passed by and gave them weird looks.
Taehyung needed him.
Even if he didn't say that he did.
He rubbed his back with his free hand caringly.
His eyes stared of into blankness.
The world only revolved around Taehyung right now.

He snapped out of his gaze when he heard the soft sniffles.
Small teardrops dripped on his arm.
His heart ached.
He shut his eyes.
"Sshh. It's okay. I'm here now." He soothed in a soft yet deep tone.
Taehyung tightened his grip on him.
"H-hyung..." His body shook a little.
The sobs threatened to get louder.
"It's okay. You don't have to explain yourself right now. Just let it out hm? Let it all out."
That's how they happened to stand there for 5 minutes in silence.
Just Taehyung crying in Jimin's arms and him whispering comforting words in his ear.

"Hey, Taehyung-ah. Look at me."
The younger attempted to bury his face further into Jimin's t-shirt.
The older chuckled.
"Look at me. Please?"
He looked up.
His almond eyes pierced through the other's.
His eyelids were clearly swollen, nose pink and lips almost the same colour.
Clear droplets of salty tears trickled down his cheeks.
Jimin frowned.
He wiped the tears away with his thumb.
"You're too handsome to be crying this much don't you think?"

Taehyung huffed.
Jimin couldn't help but to chuckle.
It was bittersweet.
He hated seeing Taehyung cry but somehow he still thought he was the prettiest person to exist.
"Seriously. How could a person look so good while crying? Meanwhile I look like a puffer fish."
Taehyung couldn't hold back a little laugh.
It warmed Jimin's heart.
"I'm serious. My face becomes all puffy and I look like I'm about to float away--"
"Okay hyung I get it. I get it." He sniffled and attempted to wipe away one last tear because Jimin was brightening his mood a little.

Jimin smiled.
"You look better when you smile." He wiped Taehyung's face one last time before he pulled away.
"Do you feel better now?"
Taehyung gave him a silent nod.
"I was going to be silent the entire day but you make it so hard for me to be unhappy hyung." He groaned as if it was a bad thing.
Jimin's lips tugged to the side into a satisfied smile.
"I'm honoured then. How can I ever live with a silent Kim Taehyung hm?" He teased.
He laughed when the other smacked his arm.
"Okay I deserve that but seriously, are you okay now?"

Looking into the concerned eyes made Taehyung feel guilty.
Oh how he wished he could just come clean but he couldn't.
It was for his own good and for Jimin's.
Despite still feeling the slight weight on his chest he nodded anyways.
And Jimin didn't entirely believe it but he chose not to question it any further.
Whatever was happening in Taehyung's life he prayed that it would get better soon.
The last thing he wanted to do was see his best friend in pain.

"Good. Now let's go to class before the bell rings. I've got some homework to finish off."
Taehyung only shook his head.
What would he do without the crackhead?
Die probably.
Jimin was too close of a friend to ever let go and when he said that, he meant it.
