It was your typical day in the slender mansion. Everyone was doing their own things, and the proxies were all out doing their assigned tasks. Well, all except one. And that one was Toby. Toby was still in his room. He'd lie in his bed restless. He tossed and turned in his bed, unable to let his body fully relax. He was always so tense, so it made it harder for him to relax. He closed his eyes, trying to let his mind take over, but when he did it only brought back horrible memories or negative thoughts. He'd try again before getting a knock on the door.
Toby got up from the bed and opened the door.
"Hi Toby!!" A child's voice said. He looked down to see that it was sally. He had an annoyed expression on his face. "What do you want." He said crossing his arms. Sally held up a princess crown and said "Will you play prince and princess with me?" Toby stared at her, but without hesitation he said, "No." He was about to close the door, but he noticed the expression on her face. She had a very sad expression on her face, a expression that most of the creepypastas couldn't resist, but Toby somewhat could. He stood there and thought for a while before letting out a sigh. "Fine." He Said finally. Sally's face lit up "Come on then!" She said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him to her and Lazari's room. "Sit." She said, pointing at a small pink chair. Toby sat down in the small chair embarrassed. The truth is, Toby doesn't really like children, but for some reason children like him. Sally put a crown on Toby's head. She put down small plastic plates and cups, putting fake food on the plates And pretending to pour tea into the cups. After a while, Ben walked into the room to check on sally. Toby was twirling Sally around as she giggled. Toby had a slight smile on his face, as if he was enjoying it. Ben snickered and snapped a photo of the two. Toby heard the noise of the camera, and quickly turned towards Ben. He froze in place, realizing what he was going to happen to him. He began to look around before running away. Toby chased after him angrily. "YOU LITTLE SHIT. GET BACK HERE." He yelled. As he was chasing Ben down the hall, Jeff was in the hallway leaning against the wall. With a smirk on his face, he put out his foot. As Toby was running, without paying attention, he tripped over Jeff's foot and ended up falling down the stairs. "Oopsie." Jeff said with that smirk on his face. Before Toby got up, he quickly ran to his room, closing the door and locking it behind him. Toby sat up slowly and touched his nose. His nose was bleeding and he had bruises on his head. He tried to stand but he couldn't. "Fuck.." he mumbled. Jane walked over to the staircase to see what had happened. "What was that noise - Oh my god! Toby are you okay?? What happened?" She ran over to him. Once she was near, she made him sit down on the stairs. She took a look at his ankle. "Can you walk at all?" She said, looking up at him. He shook his head. "Oh no.. we need to get you to Ann." She helped him up, putting his arm around her. She then carefully helped Toby to Nurse Ann's office. Jane knocked on the door frame. "Yes?" She said turning to them. "Toby fell down the stairs. I think he did something to his ankle." Jane said. Toby, who was leaning on Jane for support, was unphased since you know, he can't feel any pain. "Go ahead and help him over to the bed.I'll check him out." Ann had said, getting up to grab bandages. Jane helped him over to the bed. He sat there looking down at his hands. "T-Thank you Jane." He said in a low voice. She nodded. "Be careful next time." "It wasn't my fault." His tone was filled with anger. "Jeff tripped me and I fell down the stairs. That pale fuck." He was fidgeting with his fingers. "Sounds like something he would do. I'll deal with him, don't worry." Jane then pat Toby on the back. "I'll leave you here with Ann now." Toby never looked up at her. All he could hear was the click clack of her heels and the door close. Nurse Ann came back with the stuff. She wiped the blood off his nose and began to wrap his ankle. She laid crutches onto the bed and said, "You're all set, try not to put pressure on that ankle. I'll talk to slender about it, I'll check on you weekly. If there's any problems let me know." He nodded and grabbed the crutches, heading out.
