i took a deep breath before slowly opening the door into our pristine kitchen. Cole my twin and jackson my elder brother were their scoffing down their cereal. I self consciously tugged my mini skirt down to make it seem more appropriate. However by the way they looked at each other and then back at me it seemed my efforts had been in vain.

Jackson audibly sighed before nodding towards the stairs for me to go and get changed again. I rolled my eyes and walked back up the stairs.

To say my elder brother and twin were over protective would be an understatement. They were protective to a point that i felt that i was living my life by their command.

Ever since my mom died my father has left us to travel the world on business earning millions almost as though he thought that he could pay for my mom back. My siblings and i were left in our mansion in Connecticut with each other for company. Sadly they seemed to take this as an invitation to rule my life.

i stormed into my bedroom. in a rush of anger i picked up the first two things that were in my closet. Flinging them on i rushed downstairs for breakfast. Pushing past Jackson i reached for the cereal and began pouring.

Jackson cleared his throat "um calypso i'm not sure you really thought that outfit choice through"

i turned to glare at him before taking a look at my outfit. It consisted of a bright orange tutu from my grade 4 dance recital and a cream button down top that could really do with using a vest top underneath. I side before yet again going going to change my clothes.

.....

Stepping out of Jacksons car i breathed a sigh of relief at the fact that i was free of their overprotectiveness until lunch. but no sooner as i thought this was i called back by jackson.

"what!?" i huffed feeling exasperated

"i wanted to tell you that me and Cole have practise tonight so you will have to come to the school field after school, kay Callie?"

I nodded feeling a grin reaching out on my face. For all my brothers overprotectiveness they always seemed to forget that i was part of the cheer team.
