the ultimatum

Stepping into history late was never a good sign on the first day back after summer break. 

I bit my lip nervously before rushing through the door to get this over with. As i looked towards the front of class a sigh of relief escaped my lips as i realised that we had a new history teacher.

The middle aged man turned around and looked at me with a gaze full of questioning. 

i Cleared my throat before saying

"Calypso Daniels sir, sorry i was late my brother wouldn't let me out of the house without something that didn't come pass my knees"

He chuckled whilst i stared at him with utter senserity in my eyes.

Realising i was serious he motioned me to sit at the back.

It was super because sitting at the back next to the only spare seat was Michael Richardson mine and Coles best friend since before we could talk.

Sadly the rest of the football team had to situate their gang at the back so it looks like it is going to be nonstop talking for the rest of the year which meant history was a failure for sure!

I loved the guys on the football team they really were hilarious and no matter what, always seemed to brighten my day and with the morning from hell I had a little therapy from the boys wouldn't be too bad it seemed. 

Mikey started whooping and as all the other boys joined I grinned. Making my way to the back of the class Mikey. 

He casually placed his feet on my stool  and grinned up to me with that devilishly handsome smile.

I smirked before jumping down on top of his lies making him hiss in pain.

Mikey glared before moving his legs to make me fall off. 

There was Massive crash and everyone stared at me in horror. I simply mumbled an apology before quickly standing up and sitting on my thankfully vacant stool.

The teacher gave me and Mikey the stink eye before turning back to the board.

Mikey grinned at me triumphantly before turning back to the board.

The bell signalled changeover period as the halls filled up with the sounds of shouts and catcalls. 

Cole sauntered up to me and the boys from history.

He greeted Mikey and some others with a fist bump before turning to me.

"Hey Twinnie what ya got next?" 

He smiled at me with that handsome grin of his that makes half the population of our high school swoon.

I was about to snap at him for making me late to lessons but when I looked into his eyes I felt my anger dissipate. He is my twin after all. 

Although my brothers are seriously over protective I love them so much and they are there for my when my dad doesn't care anymore. 

"Ummm calculus, why?" 

He gave me such a cute grin before answering "your with me lil sis" 

I groaned as he referred to the fact that he is only 5 minutes older and has not let me forget it since we brought in our birth certificates in second grade for show and tell to prove we are really twins and weren't just saying it too show off.

Cole smirked at me knowing my discomfort for his pet name. 

"We'll come on LIL SIS." He says accentuating the nickname as he draped his arm over my shoulders. 

I turned around and waved back at Mikey and the boys, only to see them grinning like maniacs at my brothers and mine conversation. 

I scowled before turning around and leaning into my brother.
