In the beginning, the Father created Edwyna. Upon this world, he created many things in which he found good and pleasing to his will. It was in seven days' time that he did so. He sang and through intricate melodies the universe was created.
He alone was the only being in existence and sought for himself a partner in which he could create with. He first sang a song of lament for the emptiness that surrounded him:
Woe upon me, to walk this emptiness alone
Solely amidst the nothing I call my own
In the agelessness upon which I wander
In tenderness, the void grows my heart fonder
Sitting upon the rock I yet will build
Will leave this isolation unfulfilled
I call out with all that I yearn
In that endless solitude will be spurned
After time, he began to serenade the void, and from it was created a partner for him, eternally bound in infinite love for one another. In her first song she created the stars:
For in love I was created, and in love, I do create
The stars I will kindle for all my children to await
When you see them, you will think of me
When they see them, they will think of him, and she
Her song echoed throughout the void and the stars appeared wherever they were heard. And so he named her Kyllista, the Composer of Starlight, and shared with her his will for the ages to come. They looked upon one another with love unfathomable and walked hand in hand between the innumerable stars for untold ages.
From the creation of Kyllista however, came discordancy. From the melancholy of the void into which the Father sang, came chaos. Havasthur was molded from the darkness, from the chaos of the void. He hid from the Father, and often fought with the parents of all whenever he could.
When the Father deemed the time had come, he joined his harmony with that of his beloved, and the two sang together in an unimaginable display of beauty. From their song came a new star with seven heavenly bodies that marched around her. The first was Shyyv, the second was Jarrev, the third was Havanath, the fourth Sûranna, the fifth Edwyna (or Kaleth in Algûvodi), and the sixth and seventh were the twins that spun around each other as well Vagris and Ana. The Father and Mother went to the fifth planet that they had created and deemed it to be the one they would build. They stood about the planet and created two moons with which their creation would know their union and their benevolence. The Father spoke first and created the elder of the two moons, and upon its surface walked his various servants. He named the moon Valhyyra, whose name was Paradise. Next, Kyllista sang, and from her voice came a moon of silver light, a reflection of herself and all that she had created. She named it Balvinda, meaning Pure Light. It was when these things were sung, the partners rested when night set upon Edwyna, and brought an end to the first day.
Now the pair sang again, in perfect union, and created the sky and separated it from the ground. The Father put his breath into it to give all that would inhale the air life. The Mother also put her breath in, and from it came the wind, the small gusts that covered the empty plains. The Father turned to his beloved and spoke, "Havasthur will come and tarnish this world, but we shall not leave her undefended. We will make guardians to challenge, and one day defeat, the self-proclaimed King of demons." The two then began to sing, and from their song was born Valturius, Lord of the Heavens. The Father filled him with all the love that was within his heart, and bestowed upon him the power to create as well. He did not, however, share his will with Valturius as he had with his beloved. Valturius embraced the ones which gave him power, loved them, and worshiped them with all of his heart. All rested as night fell upon Edwyna, and so closed the second day.
