It's the weekend! Finally! Gojo has been working you hard but at the same time it feels like you're the one keeping him on task. He's gone for a mission for a couple days so its just you and the other students. On the bright side Jujutsu High is in the middle of a forest with all the hiking trails you could want.

Looking at the clock, you get up and decide to see what everyone else is up to this morning. walking to the closet in you little studio room, you pick an everyday outfit for the warm weather outside. Dressed and walking towards the door, hunger hits you like a truck. Food, then friends.

The sun is up and its a lovely spring day out. Not too warm, but not too cold either. Deciding to wander you bump into Fushiguro at the vending machines. You don't really see him much due to being a grade above him. He's nice though a bit quiet and a little cold at times. He's a strong sorcerer and you know he's a really good guy. Waving and walking up to him you grab his attention.

"Good morning, Fushiguro!"

"Oh, good morning, Y/N. Where are you headed?"

"I was actually looking for everyone. Its the weekend and a day off of missions. Trying to decide what to do with the day."

"That hasn't stopped everyone else from sparring at the track. I just stepped away to get some water. Kugisaki and Zenin are really going at it. Panda and Inumaki are keeping tally though Kugisaki hasn't won once."

You laugh "Yeah, that sounds about right. Shall we go join them?"

"I guess."

Walking to the group while making small talk with fushiguro you decide to try to sneak up and scare who'd you consider your best friend. He always hears you and tends to dodge and pull you into a hug so you can't retaliate.

Giggling you address the group starting with your captor. "good morning Panda! Good morning everyone!"

With a few nods and good mornings in return the others get back to sparring. Kugisaki v. Zenin, Fushiguro v. Itadori.

"Good morning Y/N! Finally up I see. " Panda States, letting you go.

"It's only 10am! Its not my fault the rest of you get up at dawn!" You giggle while sitting on the steps next to him.

"In our line of work, we're lucky if we get much time to sleep at all."

"All the more reason to sleep whenever I can. What's on your agenda today?"

"I haven't decided yet. It's a time of rest before Gojo gets back and starts our studies again. Is there anything special you wanted to do today? Granted we can't really go to the city without Principle Yaga's permission."

"Figures though it's a lovely day for a hike. Get away from everything for a bit. Would you want to join me?" Standing you extend your hand to him.

"Sounds like good exercise." He states, taking your hand and standing with you.

walking to the edge of campus panda grabs a couple waters and you start off. You tend to come out here alone so you can clear your head and take a step back from things when you can. Though alone is nice, its nicer to have a buddy. You decide to start off with some basic small talk while you follow the path. You talk about classes, recent missions, if you think Gojo is slacking on the mission he's on.

You get to a view point after about an hour. You decide to stop and have a break sitting at the cliffs edge. You deeply enjoy Panda's company. He's one of the few that you can talk about anything with. You can talk about the most trivial matters to both of your deepest traumas. The small talk dies off as you enjoy the scenery with most of the city just in view.

"I appreciate you" You state, startling him as it was unprompted.

"I appreciate you too Y/N." He responds, looking back out at the city's skyline.

"Sorry, I know that was a little out of the blue but you deserve to know how much I appreciate you as my best friend."

"I know. I appreciate you as my best friend too. No matter what the future may bring, well always have this little haven of ours and the memories made with the others. Itadori is planning a beach trip tomorrow and Yaga has already approved for all of us to go."

"I'm excited! Its rare for all of us students to get a vacation together. We'll have to take plenty of pictures to commemorate the event" You stated, smiling at him.

"Agreed, though I can't promise you won't be tossed in the water. I plan to toss Inumaki too at some point." He says chuckling as he stands.

"I can't promise you wont get buried in the sand." You stand as well giving him a cocky grin.

Turning to walk back to the school you bump into Inumaki about half way down. Trying to find you to bring you back in for lunch with everyone else. Having some small talk with two of your closest friends on the way to food was probably the highlight of your day. Though it was difficult an dangerous you knew that these people you've found would make everyday better and every mission a little easier.

Though the bruises you got from sparring you could have done without today.
