Riders and Demigods

After the war

I was on my way to my mom's apartament. And on my way a hellhound attacked me. Thankfully i always have riptide in my pocket. I uncapped the pen and it grew into a celestial bronze sword, i killed the hellhound pretty fast with two swings, and it turned into a pile of golden dust. Then i finally got home knocked on the door and to my surprise my stepfather Paul opened the door. Usually mom is already home at this time, but it was nice seeing Paul anyway we have gotten pretty close since the titan war, especially because he knows of my demigod life. And as soon as he saw me his eyes widened, and he welcomed me with open arms we hugged and Paul said: "Percy it's Great to see you! how is camp?" "Hey Paul honestly could be better but we are holding up especially since the recent events" i said "I'd love to hear everything as soon as possible, but i am sure you want to wait for Sally to get back" he said "Yeah i would but where is mom anyway?" i asked a bit worried. Paul Noticing it right away smiled and said: "Don't worry Percy she is just coming later than usual today got a lot of work at the sweet-shop to do today" I relaxed a bit and entered the house i was hungry, so i asked Paul if there are any left overs for me to eat "there is Yesterday's spaghetti left in the fridge" he said. I went to the Kitchen and grabbed the spaghetti while eating it i suddenly felt someone's prescense but Paul wasn't in the kitchen i turned around and sure enough there was Annabeth well not her in flesh but an Iris message none the less "Hey Wise girl! is anything wrong why are you calling so suddenly?" i asked with a puzzled expression. She noticed that i reacted to the message and said "Hi Seaweed brain yes it is important get back to camp as soon as you can! it's a new prophecy i won't be quoting it right now" A new prophecy meant a new quest "Do the gods really hate their children that much!" i thought to myself and just as i waved my hand to cut the connection with Annabeth i heard the door open "Perfect timing" i thought and went to the entrance where i saw the best mom in the world Sally Jackson she was a bit tired looking but i didn't care she always looked amazing no matter what "Mom i am very glad to see you!" i said with a smile on my face when she saw me i saw her eyes tear up and a grin was on her face which made her look slightly less tired "Percy! oh such great news that you are back!" she said we hugged and i felt a lot worse because of that comment because i had to leave as soon as possible back to camp but the mere fact that i saw her made me feel better than the fact i had to leave. We all went to the living room where i told mom and Paul most of what happened trying to hide the most dangerous stuff as usual but this time i told them slightly more especially about the roman camp and my new friends from there and Annabeth's solo quest which led to Athena parthenon's discovery and retrival when i finished both Paul and mom had a look that said both "I am so proud of you you did great" and "we are worried about you Percy" which was understandable considering how much me and my friends went through if i told them about the fall into tartarus it would have worried them even more it was nice talking to them and updating everything when i finished i felt relieved that they finally knew most things they were my family after all then i said to them "Guys just when mom came home i finished talking to Annabeth who said there is a new prophecy as much as i hate it i have to go back to camp"(Author: not the fact that he has to go to camp but the prophecy) they looked sad but let me go i said yet another goodbye to them and hugged both of them as a goodbeye and went outside whistled and called Blackjack in a matter of seconds the black pegasus rushed to my rescue "Yo boss what's up! got any dounuts?" he said and nuzzled up to me i said "Stop calling me boss and not a dounut but an apple is that good enough?" i said smiling "of course it is and sure thing boss" i tossed him the apple and he ate it and i mounted him flying into the skies. It took about thirty minutes to get to camp i went up the hill and rushed to the big house all my friends were already there i high fived with Jason Frank and Leo looked at Nico with a smile and hugged Annabeth Piper and Hazel ready for the new prophecy.
