1. You are basically Hikari/Akari/ Dawn here, but in this case you are the same age or younger than Volo by a year. (Also by any chance if you identify as something else, you're free to change things up for yourself.)

2. Your rival/friend Rei/Lucas is also the same age as you. Barry/Jun/Pearl will also be in this fanfic. (They are also aged up like you)

3. There will be some dark themes in this fanfic, If it makes you uncomfortable, do not read. (It's not going to be extreme bad type of stuff but it may include some TWs, it's a lot different from my previous works.)

(I've been meaning to write a volo fanfic but didn't get to it until I recently bought Legends so ehhh, this fanfic will be different from the game but contain parts from it)

"Thou still has to seek out all Pokémon, and thou shalt find me once more. I shall await for thou."

You'd wake up to the smell of a fire, a camp fire. You'd see a man sitting on his knees as he'd write something down on paper.

Who.... Who is he....?

You'd question yourself as you'd sit up to get a better look at him. He wore a purple beanie and a lab coat, as if he was a professor or doctor of some sort.

"Oh! You're awake....! Here I was thinking you'd never wake up."
The man said, relief on his face as he'd see you.

"What do you mean never wake up?"
You'd raise a brow.

"You've been asleep for a couple of days... You were still breathing but you wouldn't wake up. My assistant patched up your injuries since it seemed you were surrounded by wild Pokémon. You're lucky to be alive, you should thank that man who brought you here."
The man said.

"A man brought me here?"
You'd question.

"A tall man with blonde hair, he seemed like a merchant of some sorts."
The man said.

You looked around, noticing how odd this room seemed. It didn't seem like a typical room of the Sinnoh region, let alone your room. You looked at yourself and noticed a coat that seemed to cover you.

Who's..... coat is this?

"That.....? That must belong to the gentleman who dropped you off here."
The man said.

You'd stand up, wrapping the coat around you. It smelled nice, but it seemed dirty.

"Can I step outside for a bit?"
You'd ask of the man.
