It was that day when everything changed and by everything I mean e.v.e.r.y t.h.i.n.g.
It was a secret love, a love which was she treasured only within her. She never mentioned about him to Saira, not even once. Watching him propose to Saira, on one knee with flowers, bright red roses all so fresh, she contained those tears within her eyes as she mouthed along with everyone "say yes", "say yes". It would be a lie to say that she was happy for them but she definitely tried.

Saira was always there for Zoey and it's time for her to do the same.
From innocent kindergarten years to messy high-school years Saira has been and seen it all. Drinks in the terrace and secret meet ups, first time clubbing and vomiting the shit out. They made a promise to stick around till the very end and Zoey never breaks promises no matter how hard it is.

Well okay, it's fine that they are dating. Completely fine for me. Saira is happy and that's all matters. I'll try and get over him and it's not like he is the only guy in the world. There is better out there

"Babe just a sec" she said putting her earrings

"Zo-ey. I know right?" Saira completed his sentence as he stopped.

Coco and Saira started dating. They went out, on dinners, parties and hangouts. Coco saw Saira for her perfect self, more like admiration and inspiration but love? It wasn't love because Coco never knew what it's like to be in love. But he missed something to be precise someone all this time. They were never more than friends. Someone whose presence mattered a lot to his heart even though he never realized it. He didn't know who was it until that day.

"But.."

"Shh shh I know, it's fine. She was your friend and now more than- leave everything else and listen to me, you confused little boy"

She patted coco's shoulder softly as she continued
"How about I recite something for you? Yea? Ok?

Saira handed down a letter to Coco and said
"See, I hate pity eyes and tears in your blue eyes just doesn't fit in. We were best buddies and forever will be and some people like you are sooo stupid that they require someone like me to realize their own love" she chucked

"I'm just someone who keeps loving someone I can't, well if they're happy it's alright right? Maybe you don't even understand anything I'm saying but that's fine cuz everything has it's own time and now it's high time that you read this letter... okay bye"
She walked away killing it in her blue jeans and black blazer.

"Hey Saira listen I'm-

"Oh please!
No consoling shit cuz I'm really fine and sorry's cut friendship so no apology business here my boi"

She knew it all along, she definitely did.
He opened the letter and it read

"hey hi sht sht sht
Idk how to start and from where. I hope this letter doesn't end up being one of those letters which will forever stay in my cupboard and you'll never get to read it. But in case you're reading it now, then congrats to me I finally made it!
Maybe I'm not as dumb and clueless and how I wanna stop stuttering and confess my love face to face but I can't.
So hey before I loose the confidence I gathered to write this letter to you, lemme just say it

I think I've fallen deep and I can't take no as an answer so maybe clap your hands 3 times and I'll get the sign. I know this is silly and childish but that's what I really am. Zoco (Zoey and coco) sounds good though maybe you could give it a thought."

He rushed to find Zoey,
She wasn't in class, he checked his phone and it hit him that noone would be at class since it was Sunday. Dumb him. Went to her house but found it locked. Little did he know that she has already left the town...
