After school, me and Fiona go to my parents mall to look for homecoming dresses. That's what I love about my parents owning a mall, A: Everybody in Venice shops there, and B: they have all the designer stores. First we go to Sephora to shop for make up for the dance. I decided to do a pastel make up and dress theme. So pastels for everything there. Green eye make up, lavender nail polish (to go with the dress I have on hold at Michael Kors) and light pink lipstick. Fiona is going with Austin Vince, her boyfriend from sophomore year. since we're juniors, they have been dating for about 2 years. We next go to Michael Kors to pick up our dresses. Mine is a lavender evening gown with pink and blue studs on the bottom. "Oh no." Fiona says with a gasp. "What?" I ask. She nudges me and angles me to the opposite end of the store. I glare. It's Mandi Holiday, aka ex boyfriend stealer. Her boring brown hair is pulled back into a pony tail, and her brown eyes looking at the exact same dress Fiona's buying. "Great. She's buying the same dress as me." Fiona hisses. "Not for long." I growl while power walking over there. "Hey Mandi!" I say enthusiastically. Her eyes leave the dress. "Oh hi there Blaire." She says through a completely fake smile. "So um you gonna buy that dress?" I say pointing to the one in her arms. "Um yeah why?" She questions. ''Well only because my pal Fiona- you know Fiona right? Had that dress on hold for 4 months. There's no way the sales person would let you buy it unless you had further notice." I say while walking to the sales person. "Oh hi um," I say while looking at her name tag."Rhonda!" You see that girl over there? The one with the brown camisole on?" I say pointing to Mandi. "Well," I whisper while leaning in to her. "My parents, you may have heard of them, Gretchen and Bradley Kingston? They want to be pleased. So don't let that girl buy that dress." Her eyes widen and says almost on cue "yes Ms.Kingston." I smile and sashay back to Fiona. "Well?" She blurts out. "The fun is about to begin." I say with a grin. I point to Mandi walking to the counter about to purchase the Mint blue dress that Fiona already bought. "Omg!" Fioan whispers. Rhonda declines the purchase and Mandi's eyes widen. She immediately turns her head to Fioana and I. We snicker and watch her plead the salsa person for the dress. Rhonda is doing well and declines her again. Fiona says between laughs"C'mon lets go before she tries to talk to us!'' We flea the store and head to the car without any word said except for laughs.
