=<Liam's POV>=

She fell asleep in my arms. I held her all night long. I knew nothing about her, but I was falling for her. She made my stomach do flips when she stared at me with her electrifying blue eyes.

I never stayed at the hospital before. Usually I would just hang out during the day getting to know the different patients, but everybody knew that Kat was by far my favorite. Tonight, though, I just held her while she slept.

I held her until she woke up in the morning. I got a little sleep, but most of the night I just laid there captivated by her beauty. Creepy much?

She started stirring in her sleep, probably dreaming. Then she started crying and woke up with a scream that scared the life out of me.

"Kat, Kat! It was just a dream, you're ok!" I whispered to her and pulled her close.

"B-but I-it's not j-just a dr-dream anymore," she whispered between sobs. I knew what she meant. Her parents are gone. She's broken and all alone. She barely even knows the boy that's holding her.

"I know," I whispered. A tear escaped my eyes as I looked down at her. She seemed so down, I wish I could just lift her back up.

"W-why are you cr-crying?" Kat said as she lifted her hand up to wipe away my tears. I held her hand against my cheek. She smiled at me.

"I'm crying because you look so sad, and I don't like seeing you like that. You look prettier with a smile on your face." I said smiling back at her.

"Why are you so nice to me? You are famous, and yet, here you are, holding me in my hospital room," she said as the smile on her face disappeared. Wait, she knew who I was? Oh well.

"I'm so nice to you because I really like you. I don't think you realize how pretty you are." i said.

"But you don't even know me." she said as she leaned her head on my chest.

"Then tell me about yourself," I said. "We can make this into a game. For every fact you give me, I have to give one back!" I offered.

"Alright! That sounds fun!" she said as her beautiful smile flashed across her face again.

"You start!" I said. Suddenly Harry, Niall, Louis, and Zayn entered the room and sat down.

"Are we interrupting something?" Harry asked with a smirk on his face. I was about to reply, but Kat beat me to it.

"Very funny! But no you aren't. In fact, we were about to play a game. Wanna join?" she asked him. All the boys agreed, so we explained the game to them.

The game ended up being all about Kat, because little did we know, she already knew a lot about us since she ended up beinga fan. Funny, she didn't really act like she knew us before, though.

"Should I just start talking about myself now?" she asked.

"Since you know everything about us, that would be the best option." Louis said.

"Ok, well my I love horses, I secretly knew everything about you but I was embarrassed to tell you, my favorite color is blue, I love to play guitar, I also love to sing, but im pretty bad, I am really, or was really, strong because I used to do fifty push ups a day, my room used to be filled with a bunch of inspirational quotes, and last but not least, ihaveareallybigcrushonLiamPayne." she said kind of whispering the last part. Wait, what?

"What was that last part, love?" I asked.

"Nothing!" she replied a little too quickly. Her cheeks were red, and all the boys were exploding in laughter.

"What's so funny?" I asked totally confused. The boys started cracking up even more. Niall left the room and came back with a guitar. All the boys stopped laughing as he handed it to Kat.

"You said you play, right?" he said with a grin.

"Ya, but I'm not very good..." she said.

"I'm sure you're great, love! Play something!" I said. She started strumming and cleared her throat.

I swear I heard the voice of an angel. But no, it was Kat. She was singing "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz.

"Well you dawned on me and you bet I felt it

I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted

I fell right through the cracks

She sang beautifully, hitting every note and never missing a word. The boys and I joined in her singing, and the whole room was lifted as we sang together.

She ended the song with a final strum, and we all stood around with our jaws on the floor.

"Close your mouth boys, you'll catch a fly." she said with a smirk. "I'm not that good anyways."
