Narrator POV

Greetings everyone reading this fanfic, narrator here again with a exclusive gameplay of God Of War Xbox edition- oh wait nvm, wrong place, my bad! In the last chapter, we had plenty of Metal Gear Rising memes/references and hopefully, we will continue to do so. Kasli also roasted Ainz and killed Deku but no one cares for the brocolli cry baby cuck and he is dead forever, don't worry. Kuroka also joined the Cat Army and now wants to be in Hades' pants plus, Shishilan and Dormammu seems to have a rivalry now due to their love interest on you.

As far i'm aware of, I didn't missed any important detail of the last chapter so let's officially start Chapter 17: The Calm Before The Storm, from Chronos' point of view no less since it's been a long time the author has made a chapter with characters narrating the story from their point of view.

Chronos POV

Greetings readers, as the two words above me imply, it's me, Empress Chronos the Infinite, narrating the story from my point of view, or at least, a part of the story of today. I hope you find my way of "speaking" to be pleasing enough.

I'm the ruler of all time and space in multiverse, I was there to watch as countless worlds were born, I will be there to watch new ones come into existence just like I will be there to watch to watch them come to an end and be replaced by a totally new one like nothing happened at all. For that, is the nature of existence. And within these worlds, humans feel many emotions and go through many things, perhaps more so than we gods do, in so little time.

All of this made me realize the hidden beauty in a mortal life, a beauty I never payed attention to before on my eternal life despite my all seeing gaze. With such finite time, they seek to enjoy each moment of their lifes like it's the last, because it may be the last. I wonder, is this beauty greater than the eternal existence of a deity like myself and my fellows? That's a answer I have yet to find, not alone hopefully, or perhaps, it will only be revealed when I finally understand, when I complete the quest by myself, yes.

But i'm afraid, even this might meet it's end, forever.

As all of you are aware of, the fate of the multiverse is at risk now by a wicked being we don't know who is, but I know for sure this is now a multiverse of madness by how things were going... But what surprised me most? I wasn't worried about that. Why? Is it because i'm selfish or heartless to not care for the pain of others? I'm confused as well, but no, this isn't the reason.

I have faith that things will go well, that this insanity will come to an end, that light will triumph over the chaotic shadows of disasters once more. Perhaps, the truth is that The Nyanko Cat Army is the greatest threat to the multiverse, are we the heroes or the villains? I truly don't know, truth sometimes is subjective, it's up for you to decide, my dear, but the only truth of the universe is: Nothing is certain, there's no perfect justice or perfect evil.

Right now, I was in the higher dimensional room that we deities used to discuss our topics, more specifically what actions should be taken to deal with the multiversal crisis and Nazarick, though, the latter was the least of our worries. Oh yeah, the Faltine has managed to enter the room, sitting on Hades' lap with a smug grin on her hot face... I apologize for this horrible pun.

Ganesha: So you're suggesting that we take over other universes as a way to better stand up against the incoming threats?

Y/N: Yep.

Ganesha: Best plan ever.

Poseidon: And how exactly are we going to take over many universes in a short amount of time, I may ask?
