Parade

Originally this was going to be something for pride month but as I wrote it it just became more of a story that takes place during pride month

Things to know

This is Barracuda x Cube rare ship I know
This takes place before Cyan and the corruption existed
I don't write often I was just going with the flow so there will likely be flaws
Now with that being said enjoy my story

Barracuda pov
Rainbow banners were getting hung up balloons being tied underneath them clearly a 'party' of some sort was going to be thrown maybe a parade perhaps. I had an idea what it was all for I just didn't have any interest in social gatherings like this one, but I came anyways why?
"Barra!"
Cube the reason I was at this event came running over to me he was wearing a striped sweater colored as the gay flag.
He hugged me ...

I was awakened from my flustered state when he let go
"I'm so glad you're here"
you and me both
"What made you decide to come?"
I wanted to see you
"I just decided to attend for a change of scenery"
I lied
"hey if you want we could go somewhere sometime." He offered poking his fingers together and looking downward.
"AHH MY BALLOONS" some random konpeito (plant person) screamed as their balloons started flying into the air. Cube managed to just barely grab a few with a claw he summoned, the rest being caught by the helicopter. Great she's here that likely means the rest of the migraines are here too. Cube will want too talk to them and spend less time with me. Wait why am I thinking that we're all his friends as long as he's happy it doesn't matter who he hangs out with, but still I want him more than anyone.
*sigh*

Cubes pov
"Here's your balloons back sir" I said as me and heli handed them to him "thank you so much kind people hey your sweater are you one of those um uh right homosexuals?" He asked forgetting the word for a moment I don't know why but I feel awkward like more than usual. "Um yeah why?" I asked nervously feeling like I was being judged despite him having pride balloons thus being an ally "well my son is one and you look about his age I was wondering if you would like to meet him" he said oh um I was right for feeling awkward "I I'm sorry I already like someone-
"OH I just remembered we agreed to meet up with blix ly and cap we gotta go" heli said to me saving me from probably meeting a stranger I don't like meeting new people it scares me. She started dragging me away but then I realized barracuda I just left him. Looking back to the spot he was standing I realized he was gone.

Blixer pov
"HURRY THE HELL UP LYCAN!!" I yelled at Lycan as I marched back to Captain's car. Getting in beside him he said "aye lemme guess he ain't ready"
"Mhm" I mumbled in response that fucking idiot I bet he's getting all dressed up to look good I front of his 'girlfriend' ugh...
I went to the camera on my phone checking to make sure I looked ok. Although I think there awesome I don't usually wear crop tops. Maybe it's because I'm part cat but I am really sensitive about people seeing my stomach it makes me feel vulnerable. Captain put his hand on my shoulder "ya al'ight lad". I smacked his hand away "IM FINE!" I yelled "okay then" he calmly excepted. I guess he got tips from Cube on how to calm me because my rage mostly died down into guilt. I probably showed it on my face so I buried it in my hand. " YOOO WASUP GUYS LETS GET THIS PRIDE PARTY ON!!!!!!!!!!" Lycan bursted in the car full of energy I looked at Captain and he was thinking the same thing
"SHUT THE FUCK UP LYCAN!!!" We both yelled.
Then we started driving "ye guys shou'd buckle up"
"Says the loser wearing a seatbelt" I teased
"Wow you're wearing a seatbelt trash" Lycan added.
I wasn't paying attention but for some reason he had to hit the breaks and both me and Lycan got flung forward this caused a chuckle from captain "and that is why we wear seatbelts" he then started laughing. Me and Lycan mumbled as we started to actually put our seatbelts on "we're here ye know" oh
I started to growl these people were making me angrier by the second I need to get out here. Walking around the town square "Yoohoo guys guess who just texted me" Lycan playfully said all giggly and what not so naturally I responded with "your girlfriend"
"Sh sh she's not my girlfriend but yeah she said she's at the ice cream shop" ha he got so flustered I actually had forgotten we were going to meet- why is Lycan smirking an evil smirk at that "she's with your boyfriend by the way" CUBE YEYDYSYSSYZ
"h h he's not my boyfriend" I sqeaked out mumbling at the last word. We went to that ice cream place I saw Cube (and heli) he looked kinda sad I mean he always has a cloud over his head but he looks more sadder than usual. We sat down Lycan started chatting it up with heli, Captain looked at the menu, meanwhile I as a good friend decided to ask Cube what was wrong
*ding*
Oh barracuda's here he never comes with us I mean I don't really either but why is he here. Suddenly the cloud over Cube drifted away at the sight of him. I'm getting pissed, if I don't calm down I know I'm going to snap.
