At the other side of the castle a young man was making his way around the mill. He had a free day more or less, the only thing on his list was guard the king's bedroom but that wasn't until late evening.
As he was walking on the courtyard he noticed that through the main gate was walking a new guard. The young man was struggling to get his horse through the gate. Henry thought it was quite odd. A guardian should be able to manage his own horse. As he was looking closer at the young man he was starting to think he knows him from somewhere.Young Mary-Anne, the niece of the general on Granville. She and her father had an argument about her marrying a man who's not even a soldier yet. It was a long night full of screaming and fighting but at the end they've come to an agreement. A bet, if you will. Mary-Anne has to spend the night at Granville. And she agreed.
So there she is now, in the gate to Granville, trying to get her horse to move. She is trying really but her horse is as much stubborn as is she.
Henry was watching the young man in the gate for about 5 minutes till he realized what was going on there.
That definitely was not a man.
He would recognize her everywhere.
Mary-Anne.
His Mary-Anne.
Then it hit him. What was she doing there? Why was she there? Does she not know about the ban? Does she want to get killed?
'I must get her out of here. What is she thinking?' was the first thing he thought. Just as he stared to make his way quickly to her, the trumpets started playing. That meant only one thing. The king is back. It was too late. What if the king recognizes her. Henry recognized her almost immediately.
Soon the sound of horse's hooves was heard and not long after that a horse drove through the gate.
The king himself arrived.
He and his whole company were now standing in the courtyard.
The king was a handsome one if you would asked anyone but he was also a great leader and a brilliant monarch. For his young age anyway. He became the king when he was only 23 but in his 3 years of ruling the land was prospering.
He jumped of his horse, gently bowed his head at king Marco.
"It is a great pleasure to be in the land of my people again" Everyone bowed to him as he walked away.
Henry wasted no time and went to find Mary-Anne again. He knew for sure it is her. He was making his way through the courtyard, searching in the crowd of people, sometimes bumping into someone when not so gently a body collided with his.
"Watch where you going page-boy" but just as he said the words he looked at the body he collided with.
"Oh boy" said the person and ran away immediately.
'Oh boy, indeed' thought Henry.
It was her. Mary-Anne.
He immediately ran after her, chasing her through the whole courtyard.
He caught up with her at the top of the stairs to the chapel. He managed to grab her arm and stop.
"Heavens Mary-Anne what are you doing?!" he asked slightly out of breath. But his love only slightly smirk at him.
"I made a bet that i can spend the night at Granville."
Henry could only stare at her in disbelief.
"Holy Mother of Jesus and with what fool?" he scoffed slightly which caused Mary-Anne to glare at him. "With my Papa"
Henry couldn't believe his own ears.
"Well with all due respect to your father, was he sober?"
"No" laughed the redhead, "but...I have a contract"
Henry couldn't help but scoff
"He did this to the general on purpose"
"Of course he did it to my uncle on purpose"
"But our love will be the one paying for this" he took her hands in his. She looked him deeply in his eyes.
"Our love will have benefits from this, we will not have to wait until you are bestow on knight."
Henry's eyes widened
"Wait does that mean that your fath-"
"My father will agree that we will marry now" and with that he took her in his arms and span her around
"WE WILL MARRY NOW" he laughed as she placed a quick kiss on his lips. He placed her down quickly though
"What is the catch?"
"Um I must stay here over the night"
This will not end well, that's for sure.
"Everyone will recognize you here Mary-Anne" he sighed, "I recognized you at first sight" he took her hands in his once again only to get them slapped away. The girl glared at him and walked toward the bridge.
"Wait!" shouted at her Henry. He caught up with her and gently grabbed her hand. "Wait!" he panted. "I do not wish for you to get caught. Something really terrible could happen to you."
But the girl only smiled at him brightly.
"So you do love me even a bit."
"Yes, yes of course i love you" he said and Mary-Anne hugged him tightly. He grabbed her waist as she hugged him a picked her up from the ground, earning a squick from her.
"Put me down this instant, Henry!" tried to wiggle the disguised girl.
"Anyone could see you. The king could see you." he tried to reason with her. He put her down a the girl stepped harshly on his foot.
"You got scared, huh?"
"AUCH!"
Before he could react Mary-Anne was walking away again.
"Mary-Anne, my love, wait!" he went to look where the girl went. "So, i was thinking that perhaps it would be better if you did not stayed here." he started. "And i would be bestow on a knight in the meantime."
Mary-Anne showed from around the corner.
"Oh please! And how do you imagine to do so? No wars are taking place now, so how do you think you should show your dauntlessness?" she scoffed.
"Dauntlessness, dauntlessness." he threw his hand in the air. "i will not became a knight because of dauntlessness."
"It is because you are not dauntless! You can sit around here till your last day. I do not need you!" she snapped at him as she began to walk away once again.
"Mary-Anne, do not be foolish. Do you really wish to do this?"
She turned around sharply, looking at him for a while and than said, "Yes, I really wish to do this. I really wish to do this for us." and with that she ran away.

The queen and the priest were walking on a bridge as quickly as they could so nobody saw her.
That, unfortunately, didn't work. His majesty, king Marco, was just under the bridge when he noticed the Holy father, not noticing the girl.
Katherine quickly crouched down and hid.
"Father" bowed his head the king, the priest mirroring his actions.
"Uh..I see that his majesty is already rested and he wishes to see more of the beauty of this castle."
"Well, you could say that." the man with an accent replied. He was just wondering around, when he noticed not a single woman here. He found it rather odd to which in his country every one loves women. Everyone desires women.
"Very well, by all means this way, you majesty"
"Yes."'he cleared his throat.
Katherine waited for a moment before she decided to get up from her hiding place a wait for the father in the chapel.i'm a fucking liar.
