Slowly climbing my way out of bed, I reached over to my wooden end table where my phone lay buzzing and playing the song Coming Down fading in and out to get my attention. I glared at the contact on the screen then at the time. It was only seven o'clock in the morning...Why was Mark calling me? I picked up the pone debating on answering the suspicious call or to let it go to voice mail and go back to sleep? I seemed to agree with the first option when my finger pressed the green button on my phone and I heard Marks deep voice coming through my speaker.

"Hello?" I questioned groggily into my cold phone that was slightly pressed against my cheek.

"We need to talk," His voice filled my ear, replaying the words I dreaded to hear...Mark was one of my only serious boyfriends and now that was all ripped away from me. Julia and Cesar were now the two main people in my life. Julia has been my friend since third grade and we are now working at a local Starbucks together side by side. Cesar has been there for me through everything from family issues to rumors at school. He is that gay best friend that every girl needs in their life for support and constant humor relief.

Back to reality here now. I put my phone back down next to me on the bed and climbed back under my many quilts and throw blankets. I honestly have no idea what to think about whats happening right now. My thoughts are spinning around in my head like loose papers in the wind. I brushed away brown strands of my chocolate brown hair away from my moistened cheek. My hands wiped away the stray tear from my cheek, as I sat up to an upright position in my bed.

"I promise myself that I will not shed one more tear on Mark," I whispered to myself under my breath while changing the background on my phone from myself and Mark to a picture of my new puppy that was now asleep at the foot of my bed. My phone vibrated twice from underneath the thick blanket and it read "new message from Julia Is My Life". I picked up the phone in my unsteady hand and typed to her what had just happened. Before I knew it she had replied and said that we need a girls night out and  was working cashier today. The shop was quiet except for a couple rowdy teenagers sitting in the corner laughing and being obnoxious. Julia had to leave early because she had to get ready for tonight. She was able to get out early because Jason the manager of the store was her boyfriend. I was getting ready to close thing down when I heard the bell on top of the door chime.

I looked up to see a tall slim figure walking in through the glass door with three other men following. They looked around obviously confused on where to go. The tallest one had a head full of curls and glistening bright green eyes with a hint of mystery hidden under his seemed to be toned chest. The second male trailing behind the taller one has blue eyes with blond hair with brown roots perking up from his scalp. The third one wandering behind the other two, he had longer hair and it seemed to be straighter and more controlled than the previous. It looked like he had blue eyes but it was hard to tell from this distance. I could only tell the taller ones because he was now standing right in front of me asking me if I was ready for his order.
